Description

Paging System
The present invention relates to a system for communication between people based on a predetermined set of data by each of the individuals. The communication is performed by use of electronic devices transmitting and/or receiving the data. The data includes such information the user may wish to disclose to another person who has indicated interest in this particular form of information. Accordingly, the invention relates to a system wherein one person transmit a set of data to the vicinity and in case a second person in the surroundings has indicated interest in this particular form of information, one or both of the persons may receive that information from the electronic device.
Brief description of the invention
Relations are established and assessed, inter alia, via software in a device such as in a mobile telephone, a hand watch or another suitable device. In a preferred embodiment the data is based on personal birth data, and assessment of compatibility via the World of Wisdom "synastry" software (See specifications in the example). This compatibility assessment based on birth data alone is enhanced by the voluntary addition of other personal information, such as education, interests and hobbies, and related information such as health details.
Contact may in one embodiment of the invention be established by pressing a button or key on the device in respect of the desired protocol. If there is another person with a similar device within range, then a light diode would flash, or if the person was in contact via computer or phone, he/she would be alerted by visual/auditory means. If that person wished to proceed with the exchange of information he/she could press a button to facilitate the transfer.
The user may select exactly the type of information he or she wishes to use as the specific data forming the basis for the contact. In one embodiment, the data relates to a profile of the person and may involve one or more of the following subjects:
Interest profile: Art and literature
Entertainment
Sports and Leisure Education profile: Career
Qualifications
Languages Special Interests
Lifestyle profile: Diet
Beliefs
Politics
Health profile: Treatments
Conditions
Contact Information
The data may naturally contain specific information which represents only one profile and the data may of course also involve a combination of information relating to one or more of the profiles.
The data on which the first subject wish to be identified on may be varied during the day as a consequence of the schedule for the first subject of that day. For example the subject may choose to disclose more general data in an open environment and to disclose more specific data when in a environment where the possibility for being in the neighbourhood of relevant persons is greater. In other words, if the person is visiting an art museum the likelyhood that other visitors are interested in art is high whereby the person may choose to disclose a more detailed information relating to the preferred artist, preferred paintings, etc. in order to disclose an information optimal for an successful contact or to optimize the compatibility between the persons.
The relevant data which may also include a program is preferable stored in a chip equipped with a battery or other means for energi including solar cells and an antenna in any of the following devices: Wristwatch
- Item of jewellery (e.g. pendant or badge)
- Personal organiser
- Mobile telephone
- Desktop telephone
- As Email cookie
- As interactive Internet Page
- Any other techno-electronic information system.
The device may comprise light diodes and a sound chip to signal acceptance or rejection of contact. It may be sending out different tones for varying degrees of compatibility. This function can be switched on and off at will. It can also vibrate gently whenever there is a particularly strong period of personal power, or a strong compatibility. This can be switched on and off.
A supplementary facet of the device is a link to a "biorhythm" or "planetary rhythm" function, which constantly compares personal energy with the energy of the moment. This is measured with World of Wisdom synastry software using GSM satellite navigation protocols to establish the exact location of the individual. In this case no contact with any other device is necessary.
Accordingly, the present invention also relates to a system where information relating to the persons horoscope form basis for a contact. A possible profile may involve the following data:
Horoscope Profile: Birth Date (8 digits - e.g. 21.12.1969) Birth Time (4 digits - e.g. 23.30) Birth Place (10 digits - e.g. 43.20N 74.30E)
A. Horoscope Profile
1. Assessing compatibility
- Birth Information can entered by the user, and is composed of 22 digits only.
- Birth place geographic coordinates, time zones and summer times are stored in the chip. Coordinates of Place Names not contained in the device database can be accessed via a specific internet site, or the GSM satellite device (if the person is residing in birth place.)
- Birth information can be sent to anyone in receiving distance.
- The person receiving the information can then choose to reciprocate by pressing "send" to transmit his/her birth data.
- This person also has the option of pressing a button signalling refusal to divulge personal information
- When agreement to receive and send is in place, then a compatibility analysis takes place in both devices using World of Wisdom Synastry software. This calculates the planetary positions and Earth's orientation for any given moment of time at any given place, and compares these to those of the other person.
- Compatibility is shown on a LCD graphic display according to several different parameters such as: Warmth, Security, Communication, Romance, Sex, Togetherness, Family.
- Each parameter can have a positive or negative aspect.
- Overall compatibility will also be shown in the form of one simple graph. - Birth data can be sent and stored in the receiver's device for later study. A large amount of other peoples' personal data can be stored in this way.
- Any birth data can be entered manually and used to assess compatibility.
- Wearer's could be audibly reminded a week before a person's birthday comes up.
2. Personal Biorhythm
- The device can be used for assessing mood and potential at any time during the day.
- This is done automatically by the World of Wisdom synastry chip, which constantly compares the planetary birth profile with current planetary positions using the coordinates of the user. This shows one fluctuating graph consisting of moving waves showing the degree of power you have at this time and place.
- These coordinates are accessed using GSM satellite software.
- These biorhythms are then displayed in graphic form, using the same or similar parameters as in the compatibility display.
B. Optional items
- Other optional extras are coded into the program and displayed on the LCD display to be selected by user.
- More detailed information can be coded via personal computer using a wizard and infra-red or radio communication.
- Personal information can be chosen and displayed according to international standards, using icons to represent interests, (e.g. skiing, dancing, etc)
- Other data could be transmitted (as an option) like telephone numbers and E-mail addresses.
- Personal information is coded in Main Directories and Sub-directories according to international standards, and relations between them can be maintained by software such as an Oracle 8i light database.
- The combination of information in these directories in the database can be coupled to an export protocol which can be transmitted through the chip.
- User can select which information they wish to send by choosing the subject and pressing send. (e.g. User chooses "Interests", and presses send, or user chooses "Horoscope data" and presses send.)
- If similar interests are shown then the corresponding word/icon flashes and visual and (optional) auditory signal is given.
- It is believed that female users will be interested in the Compatibility Function.
- Male users will be interested in the Personal Power/Biorhythm function. - There should be a specific Internet site, where people share their experiences of compatibility etc. The Internet site allows system owners or users to log on with a password for access to more detailed compatibility information, and a full explanation of the graphs on their watches. Graphs on watches are disclosed in Figure 1.
Accordingly, the present invention relates to a system and method for interactive communication between at least two individuals, the method comprising a first individual having in its vicinity a first device comprising a set of first data, the device being capable of receiving a set of second data from a second device and to correlate the first set of data with the second set of data so as to obtain a categorisation of said second set of data and to provide an output based on said categorisation. The output may be communicated to the second individual by means selected from vibration means, visual means and vibrating means. Such means is preferable located in the second device or connected to the second device.
The first and/or second device is preferable in the form of or located in a handwatch, a badge, an item of jewellery, cell phone, or in any item suitable for wearing on the body. In a further embodiment, the device is connected to a personal computer.
The data on which the interactive communication is based contain information of a personal character of the first individual and/or second individual, respectively. Accordingly, the person may establish the contact on totally individual criteria as described herein.
The chosen device should be capable of communicating said personal information to a second device belonging to a second individual, the second device comprising information of the second individual, and the communication is based on one or more predetermined criteria relating to the information of the first individual and of the second individual, respectively. The second individual will bear in its vicinity or directly in the body, a second device prefeably comprising a chip capable of communicating with the first device based on one or more of the predetermined criteria relating to the personal information of the first individual s
The personal interactive communication system according to the invention is thereby capable of identifying compatibility between the individuals. The invention also relates to a device for the interactive system.
As appears from the present application, the system is adapted for non-verbal communication adapted to each of the individuals personal character with the purpose of establishing a selective contact between the individual based on a set of criteria predetermined by each of the persons involved in the interactive communication system.
The interactive communication system is based on personal information relating to preferences regarding work and leisure, sports and holidays. In a further aspect the interactive system include astrological software such as disclosed in the present text.
The interactive system involves, in one embodiment, communication between personal chips worn by the individuals. The system may be integrated in any suitable form such as in a cell phone, a watch, or in any other portable item. In a further embodiment, the interactive system is integrated in a program for use on the internet whereby persons with compatible data are automatically interconnected.
In general, the system is conceived as a multi-disciplinary total system for establishing contact between electronic devices within a specified distance. Several types of electronic devices can be uses as a host for the concept including an electronic Personal Organicer, a watch, a computer with network or internet capability, mobile phones, etc.
The individuals using the system may receive information of compatibility with a second individual in different ways. These include different tones for varying degrees of compatibility, visual information signals including displays with more detailed information in text or in a graphic form. The information may also be received by use of a vibrating device.
The system may also include a disclosure of the situation of the individual based on programs relating to personal energy, biorythms, planetrary rhytm, etc..

In a preferred embodiment, the paging system is adapted to operate within a cellular mobile phone system and the system may be adapted to operate within a public or private telecommunication network.
However, the system may be totally independent of such system and may in a further preferred embodiment be based on a system involving communication by use of infrared radiation.
Accordingly, the system will make it possible for a person who has incorporated desired data to the electronic devise to establish contact with a second electronic device within a specified distance and thereby get in contact with a person having a personality or interests which corresponds with that person. As describe above, several types of electronic device can be used as a host for the information to be transmitted, such as Personal Organisers, a watch, any computer with network or internet capability, or mobile phones. The rapid evolution within the electronic field will in near future make it possible to store and transmit data in devices of a size which may easily be incorporated in a minor device In accordance with the system described above, the present invention in further aspect relates to a method of paging a first person when a second person of certain characteristics is located in the vicinity of the first person, comprising the steps as mentioned in the following:
determining a first set of values of parameters relating to a human that is attractive to the first person and the position of the first person,
determining a second set of values of parameters relating to the second person and the position of the second person,
correlating the second set of values with the first set of values,
determining a distance between the first and the second person, and
generating an output when the distance is less than a predetermined threshold value and the correlation is greater than a predetermined correlation threshold value.
The method may comprise one or more of the features mentioned above for the paging system.
Examples
A) Contact is established by pressing a button or key on the device in respect of the desired protocol. If there is another person with a similar device within range, then a light diode would flash, or if the person was in contact via computer or phone, he or she would be alerted by visual or auditory means. If that person wish to proceed with the exchange of information he or she could press the button to facilitate the transfer.
B) Use of a system including the of GSM satellite navigation protocols to establish the location of the individual. In this case no contact with any other device is necessary
C) Use of a system including GSP.
D) Use of a system including "World of Wisdom" synastry software
Basic principles for World of Wisdom" synastry program 1.1 The program should be available in CD-ROM form and as a shorter version on disk. The shorter version should preferably be small enough (e. g. 5 -10 MB compressed)to be able to be downloaded via Internet.
1.2. The ability to change languages should be retained.
1.3. Synastry should be able to run together with Interpreter, as well as by itself. Specifically: the Name Data and (NEW)the place database should be shared.
1.4. Later modules should also be able to run together with Synastry and Interprete r.
1.5. Measurements should be in inches as well as millimeters. (Selected in preferences)
1.6. The program should have more icons to avoid too much of menus.
1.7. User-friendliness is the main principle -55 year old women who have got a PC for their birthday should be able to use the program.
1.8. The Help function should be specific for each menu item -as was the idea with the original Help text -as well as a traditional hypertext function.
1.9. The general principle for synastry is to calculate more than one horoscope at a time, and show interconnections between them. It should be possible to show up to 6 horoscopes on screen at once. (Though normally only two will be shown. )Clicking on a planet in one horoscope activates any planets aspected in the other.
1.10. Synastry will incorporate animation, video and sound functions in the Interpretation w. windo
1.11. There are to be weighing functions (as in the Quiz)which measure compatibility in graph form.
1.12. Installing the synastry program must not delete stored data concerning names and places. For Interpreter and Synastry updates and the new program must register old WOW name/place files and upgrade them or leave them untouched.
1.13. The program is able to run on Windows 3.1 and 3.11 , as well as Win 95. A Win95. 2. HELP TEXT
Special Help must show the following:
2.1. How to calculate two horoscopes for comparison
2.2. How to use the Interpretation menu
2.3. How to print out an interpretation
2.4. How to use the Print Queue
2.5. Viewing the Twin Wheel, Double Wheel and Tables
3. STARTING
3.0. Three icons to be displayed after installation
3.1. Readme
3.2. Print Manual: Manual prints out in Write, Wordpad (without illustrations)or Pagemaker or (NEW) PDF
3.3. Synastry icon
3.4. The program starts with an animation -an AVI file supplied by NINI
4. Tips of the day
4.1. A screen opens immediately after program is installed
4.2. NINI makes icon
4.4. NEW. Welcoming Wizard shows tip for the day.
4.5. NEW. I investigate making live introduction with Lotus Cam and sound.
5. Name Data Window -Basic
5.1. The last calculated horoscopes are stored in a temporary Names List.
5.2. The temp names list can be accessed by icon in the horoscope window
5.3. Under Options the user chooses how many of the last calculated horoscopes are shown on the temp names list.
5.4. A Forward and Backwards arrow is added to the window for scrolling in horoscopes.
5.5. A Tab has been added for Progressions
5.6. A key has been added for Print Queue
6. The Synastry Display -the Twin Wheel 6.1. The default display is for two people, with a horoscope window containing two separate horoscopes (Twin Wheel) and an interpretation window with two columns for two separate people.
6.2. To maximize space the Twin Wheel is shown on the right-hand side, overriding the right half of the menu bar, program bar and icon/interpretation bar. This can for example be done by making the icon bar/the interpretation bar moveable. And by making menu bar disappear -as in Netscape. Then a button must be shown with text "Click for Menu bar")
6.3. The active horoscope overlaps 50%of the outer ring of the passive horoscope. The active horoscope is the one you have clicked on, thereby showing planets in the other horoscope which flash when aspected by the active horoscope.
6.4. The active horoscope is generally shown on the double-wheel as the name on the outer horoscope. 6.5. The passive horoscope becomes the active horoscope when you click on it. 6.6. There is an icon showing a list of the last calculated horoscopes.
7. Interactivity between the horoscopes on the Twin Wheel
7.1. The principle is: clicking on a planet in one horoscope activates planets in the Bar. Only one of the planets have an effect on the other horoscope... clicking on signs, houses etc does not produce any effect on other horoscope, but is shown on Interpretation Bar.
7.2. Planets which are activated by aspects from a specific planet in Horoscope A will flash in Horoscope B.
7.3. The House aspected by planet A will flash in Horoscope B
7.4. Clicking on a flashing planet or house in Horoscope B will produce the text in the Interpretation window.
7.5. The active horoscope overlaps the passive horoscope.
7.6. Clicking on the passive horoscope twice makes it into the active horoscope
The Interpretation Bar
The Interpretation Bar is a Floating bar, which is placed in the traditional "Interpreter" position, but can be dragged elsewhere, and which is automatically moved when Twin the
Wheel horoscope window is shown.
-Clicking on planets brings traditional Interpretation line: Mars -13.56 -Aries -6th House -
Aspects, but there is an extra button for Interaspects and Planets in Partner's House.
Mars; 13.56; Aries; 6th House; Aspects (6); Interaspects (4); 3rd House (Adr.) or with floating Interpretation bar:
-The flashing principle shall work in both Twin the Wheel, and the Double wheel. 8. The synastry display - The double wheel
The wheel visually display the planets position in to circles and other infomation.
9. The Interpretation Window -1
9.1. The Interpretation Window can either show one person, or two people
9.2. The Interpretation window shows two columns, even when only one person's horoscope has been calculated. The 2nd column is then left blank. The right hand column is empty until a partner is added
9.3. Planetary and Aspect symbols are shown as in Interpreter
9.4. In addition there are icons for: a)Sound:-only for Interaspects from Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars (the personal planets)in one horoscope to any planets, or MC or AS in the other. There are 5 positive sounds, and 5 negative. b)Small symbols connected with the sound effects, 5 positive and 5 negative c)Animations:-Only for Mars and Venus in the 12 signs (24 in all)
10. The Interpretation Window -2
0.1. When there are cross aspects between the planets in one horoscope to planets in the other, then there is a different text for A and for B:-one is the aspect seen from A's point of w, vie the other is the aspect seen from B's point of vie w.
10.2. For all aspects there is a barometer showing strength.
10.3. In addition, when personal planets in one horoscope aspect any planets in the other compatibility icons appear, with a sound effect. There are 10 compatibility symbols: 5 positive and 5 negative, and 10 sound effects, five positive and five negative.
10.4. The compatibility symbols reflect the strength of the aspect (Strong, medium, weak). For Strong three symbols is shown, for Medium 2 symbols are shown, for Weak one symbol is shown.
10.5. The symbols are shown above the left-hand name on the interpretation window r, put -o in another way -it is the active horoscope which decides which symbols are shown, and which sound comes. The symbols come above the active horoscope. Example: There is a Strong positive aspect between Mars in Adrian's horoscope Venus and in Nini's. Three symbols for positive Mars appear above Adrian's name, and the positive sound effect for Mars comes. However, if Nini's horoscope had been the active horoscope, 3 symbols for positive Venus, and the positive Venus sound, would have come. (Note. For aspects from Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars to the outer planets, nodes, MC &AS, there is no problem -because there are no symbols and sounds for the outer planets -the problem only arises when there are interaspects between the inner planets, Sun and Moon.)
11. The Interpretation Window -3
11.1. If an interpretation is chosen for one person only, then the Interpretation Window still keeps the double format. The person's name appears in one column, and the other column is blank
12. Name Data Window -Progressions
12.1. METHOD
12.1.1. The principle of progressions is that one day of the life is equivalent to r 1 . T yea o make a progressive horoscope for the 47th yea r, you count 47 days from the birth date and calculate a new horoscope for the SAME time and place of birth. Simple.
12.1.2. However it is also important to allow fractions of year. Typically if you were born 17th July 1949, and married 27th December 1988, you would put in the date 27.12.1988 and the progressed horoscope would be calculated exactly for that date, not just from birthday to birthday. Here you would work out the number of days 31.12.1988 is from 17.07.1988 and use this fraction to calculate the precise planetary and house positions.
12.2. The time is not necessary, neither the place. Only Day, Month and Year.
12.3. Event and Date fill one line of Table
WIZARD
"The Progressions function assume that you have a knowledge of this branch of predictive astrology. No explanations or interpretations for Progressions are given in this program"
Continue Go Back Do not show this message again."
13. The Print Interpretation Window 13.1. The Multiple (batch)printing area is replaced by a "Names" area, which enables the user to select one or more names for interpretation printout
13.2. There is a possibility of selecting one single name, and having a printout for one individual without partner. (See "General Introduction for Singles" Text Q02)
13.3. There is a possibility to select the complete version -or the abridged version which excludes influences that are more general and less personal. All cross-aspects involving Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars and Ascendant/Descendant to any other planets are included in the abridged version, but all cross aspects involving Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, the Nodes and the MC to themselves are excluded.
13.4. Note that the ordinary aspects (not cross-aspects)in the individual horoscope are included in both versions.
13.5. The Print Queue is dropped
13.6. The Twin Wheel, Double Wheel and Degree Dials can be accessed and edited here
13.7. Settings can be saved
13.8. Illustrations need not be viewed.
14. The Print Queue Function
14.1. The user can at any time select a window and click on the Print Queue icon (or select Add to Print Queue in the File Menu; or press Ctrl +Q)to add astrological information to the Print Queue. 14.2. It is especially important that calculations made for the progressed horoscope can be added to the Print Queue.
14.3. When the Print Queue icon is clicked on a small window should appear which says: "Add to Print Queue? Yes No Cancel. Edit.
14.4. Horoscope wheels cannot be added to the Print Queue but must be printed out from the normal editable "Interepreter" window. If the user tries to add a wheel to the print queue the following message should appear:
"Only Tables can be added to the Print Queue. Please print horoscope wheels out via Print Wheel Drawing in the File menu"
14.5.Text information cannot be added to the Print Queue, but must be accessed through Book Excerpts or normal interpretation print-out.
14.6. The Print Queue should be editable from the Print Queue Window .
14.7. NEW. The Print Queue W ndow can be accessed and edited through the Print Wheel Drawing window, the Print Icon and the Print Queue Window in the View Menu, and the File Menu. 14.8. All selections in the Print Queue are stored until activated through the Print Queue window or in the various options in the File Menu
14.9. Please note : Whilst The Double Wheel, Twin Wheel and Interpretation are standard
(but editable), the various tables contained into the printer queue should simply be placed to maximum advantage on the A4/Letter page. In other words, as many tables as possible should be placed on the A4/Letter page in a standard, default size, and when the page is full, the remaining tables should be printed on the next A4/Letter page.
15. The Backup and Restore function
15.1. Users should be encouraged to backup name and place data to diskette.
15.2. When the user clicks on 1.9. Backup, the Window as illustrated below opens
15.3. Ideally users should be able to backup all recently added person names, town names and country names on one disk. For this reason pictures of people cannot be backed up. Perhaps towns and people should be backed up on separate disks. (If the disk becomes full, a window should pop up recommending backing up on 2 separate disks.)
15.4. NEW. When reinstalling either Interpreter , or Synastry, the program should not overwrite previous name and place files.
15.5. Files should also be able to be Restored in the same window.
16. Print Wheel Drawing +lnfo
16.1. When the user clicks on Print Wheel Drawing +lnfo a window with Tabs opens. This window enables editing of the following drawings:
16.1.1. Single Wheel -as in Interpreter
16.1.2. Twin Wheel -the Synastry default
16.1.3. Double Wheel
16.1.4. Degree dials, Element and Mode Graphs
17. Double Wheel +lnfo...
17.1. Planetary positions: It is not so necessary to show House positions in the tables -but the MC and AS (but not IC and DS) should be shown in the tables.
17.2. The Planetary Position Table shows the planetary degree and minute together with the number of the house it falls in -and an extra column showing which house it falls in the other person's horoscope. 17.3. The Wheel drawing: House lines and AS/DS &MC/IC lines are shown on the double drawing. The person with the Inner horoscope has the AS/DS line horizontal. The outer horoscope has the AS/ DS line positioned wherever it is placed in relation to the inner horoscope.
18. The Twin Wheel
18.1. As with the Double Wheel it is not so necessary to show House positions in the tables -but the MC and AS (but not IC and DS) should be shown in the tables.
18.2. If someone needs to know the house positions, then they can print out the tables in Print Queue, or print out an individual horoscope in the Single Wheel Option
18.3. As with the Double Wheel the Planetary Position Table shows the planetary degree and minute together with the number of the house it falls in -and extra an column showing which house it falls in the other person's horoscope.
18.4. The Twin Wheel is the default Wheel in the Interpretation Printout.
19. Degree Dials/Element/Mode:
19.1. Degree Dials are shown after the horoscope wheel(s). There are three dials which are accompanied by an explanatory text (in small font). The dials are name as follows:
30 degree dial is entitled: Contacts 60 degree dial is entitled: Harmony 90 degree dial is entitled: Tension
19.2. The 30 degree dial is calculated in the following way:
The degrees of each planet is note and arranged on a 30 degree graph, ignoring which sign they are in. So a planet at 7 degrees Aries, Taurus, Gemini etc will always be shown at the 7 degree mark.
19.3. The 60 degree dial takes every planet every 60 degrees in the Zodiac -still placing them on a numbered 30 degree dial. Thus a planet at 7 degree Aries would be placed next to a planet at 7 degrees Gemini, 7 degrees Leo, 7 degrees Libra etc
19.4. The 90 degree dial takes planets at every 90 degrees (0 -90 -180 -270)-placing them on a 30 degree dial. Thus a planet at 7 degree Aries would be placed next to a planet at 7 Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.
19.5. Elements strength is shown in graphic form -Earth Air Fire Water -and the graphs are accompanied by an explanatory text, (in small font)Element strength is calculated by counting planets in the 12 signs and giving points -see calculation formula r. late 19.6. Modal dials are also shown in graphic form -Cardinal Fixed Mutable -and are accompanied by an explanatory
20. Points system for Element graphs
20.1. Every planet gets the following points, which are used to weigh up which Element or Modality is strongest:
Pluto: 1 Neptune 1 Uranus: 1 North Node2 South Node2 Saturn: 4 Jupiter: 4 Mars: 6 Venus: 6 Mercury: 6 Moon: 10 Sun: 10 MC 5 AS 10
20.2. ELEMENTS: The program assesses which planets fall in which signs and works out how many points there are for each element (Air, Fire, Water &Earth):
Air signs : Gemini Libra Aquarius
Fire signs : Aries Leo Sagittarius
Water signs: Cancer Scorpio Pisces
Earth signs : Taurus Virgo Capricorn
20.3. The elements in the graph have the following order: Air>Fire>Water>Earth
20.4. The colours in the graph are as follows: Air: Yellow
Fire: Red
Water: Medium Blue
Earth: Green (Medium) 20.5. MODALITIES: The program works out which planets fall in the different modalities (Cardinal, Fixed, Mutable), and works out the relative strength of the modalities: Cardinal: Aries Cancer Libra Capricorn
Fixed: Taurus Leo Scorpio Aquarius Mutable: Gemini Virgo Sagittariu s Pisces
20.6. The modalities have the following order in the graph: Cardinal>Fixed>Mutable
20.7. The colours in the graph are as follows: Cardinal: Orange
Fixed: Brown Mutable Lemon Green
21. COMPATIBILITY GRAPHS
21.1. The following qualities should be weighed based on factors in the two horoscopes of the couple in question. Qualities are measured by assessing cross-aspects to the personal planets (including the Ascendant and MC), from all the planets, (including the Nodes).
21.2.Two graphs are shown, one for X and one for Z. These graphs reflect the same factors experienced from different points of vie w. So a contact between Mars in one horoscope and Venus in another would affect the "Enterprise and Eros" column of 's X graph, and the "Love and romance" column of Z's graph.
21.3. These graphs should come on the last page of the analysis.
21.4. The affect of these cross aspects on the graphs are assessed by two factors: a)The type of planet involved b)the strength of the aspect
21.5. Each planet corresponds to a specific compatibility factor: Sun: Warmth and respect
Moon: Comfort and support Mercury: Mental interaction Venus: Love and romance Mars: Enterprise and Eros Ascendant: Interacting lifestyles MC: Interactng careers 21.6. There should be a final column in the graph which combines all the influences from the previous 7 factors. This should be called:
General compatibility
21.7. Each column should be a DOUBLE column, reflecting whether the contact is positive or negative. The double columns should be composed of a blue column for harmonious contacts and a red column for disharmonious. So if Mars X was disharmonious Moon Z and harmonious Venus Z, then the "Enterprise and Eros" column of X would reflect the negative influence on the red section of the column and the positive influence on the blue section of the column.
21.8. The following text in 8 point print italics should appear below the graph:
"Each column of the graph is divided into two sections reflecting strong contacts which are either harmonious (blue/light grey)or disharmonious (red/dark grey). Though, from the point of view of pleasure, harmonious contacts are to be preferred, disharmonious contacts also show compatibility and can be very stimulating. There has to be something to work on and overcome in a relationship. "
21.9. Positive are trines and sextiles and conjunctions which involve: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and North Node, Ascendant and MC.
(Positive aspects also include the semisextile [30]which are an option under "Aspects" but not included in the default setup)
21.10. Negative are squares, oppositions, and conjunctions which involve: Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and the South Node
(Negative aspects also include semissquares [45]and sesquisquares [135]and quincunx [150]which are an option under "Aspects" but not included in the default setup),
22. Weighing influences for compatibility
22.1. Example: if Sun X aspects Mars Z, then 's Z Mars (Enterprise and Eros)gets the Sun 's 10 points, while X's Sun (Warmth and respect)gets 's Z 6 points. If Sun X aspects Jupiter Z, then the Sun X gets 4 points whilst Z gets none, as there is no column reflecting Jupiter. 22.2. The personal planets, MC or Ascendant have to be involved to generate points which affect the graph. Cross-contacts between Jupite r, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and the Nodes do not count.
22.3 The strength of aspects also affects the points system. Aspects strengths are weighted according to our "Strong", "Strong and Medium" and "Strong, Medium and Weak" system.
Strong: 100%
Medium: 80%
Weak: 60%
So a weak conjunction between Sun X and Venus Z would give 3.6 points to the Sun (6 x
60%)and 6 points to Venus (10 x 60%)
23. Sequence of the Print-out and Interpretation display on screen
23.1. The following Main Titles are used:
23.1.1. General Character All info involving Sun and Moon
23.1.2. Soul Mate All info involving Ascendant/Descendant and DS ruler 23.1.3. Love &Sexuality All info involving Mars and Venus
23.1.4 Other Issues All remaining info
23.2. The "Other Issues" section can be dropped as an option in the printout, if the user wants a shorter printout. Complete version/Abridged version)
23.3. GENERAL CHARACTER a) Sun in Sign, House, Partner's House. Own aspects, crossaspects b) Moon in Sign, House, Partner's House, own aspects, crossaspects)
23.4. YOUR SOUL MATE Descendant, DS ruler in sign, Ascendant in partner's house, Aspects to partner's Ascendant, aspects to DS rule r, planets in 7th House
23.5. LOVE &SEXUALITY a) Venus in Sign, House, Partner's House. Own aspects, cross aspects b) Mars in Sign, House, Partner's House. Own aspects, cross aspects
23.6. These first 3 sections constitute the short version of the synastry analysis. If people choose the short version, the section on "Other Issues" is left out.
23.7. OTHER ISSUES Mercury in Sign, House, Partner's House. Own aspects, cross aspects. Jupiter cross aspects. Jupiter in partner's house
Saturn cross aspects. Saturn in partner's house
Cross-aspects between Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Nodes and MC.
23.8. C OMPATIBILITY
This is the double graph
23.9. There will be times when there are no aspects, or no interaspects etc, and then a special text should appear something like:
" The program has not identified major contacts in this area which profoundly affect you or your relationship".
23.10. The designation "DSAR.. TA.. GE" -i. e. Descendant ruler in SIGN has been omitted. (See DSRULE X and DSRULE Z after Q18). However the theme of Descendant ruler in sign "DSAR/K" has been retained. (See "DSRUL KEY X and DSRUL RY K Z at the beginning of Q16 -Soul Mate).
24. Differences between the Print-out and Interpretation display on screen
24.1. The series of texts: Q1 , Q2, Q3 etc are not shown on screen unless asked r. fo What do we do here to get the different intro-texts, which automatically come in the printout?
24.2. Can there be an Intro icon actually on the interpretation screen at the very beginning of the text? Like a "Hint" for example, or as Hypertext? Or perhaps on the "Main Title". 25 -Preferences
25.1. Preferences is shown as an item under the Settings menu
25.2. The choice of Inches or Millimeters should be given under measurement system
25.3. There should be a language option -normally greyed out -until a multilingual function is offered., for example for downloads over the Internet.
25.4. Colour of planets in horoscope wheel can be chosen. Default is Blue and dark red. 25.5 Colour of aspect lines can be decided here. (Should make Oriol happy). Default as in Interpreter .
26. The Interpretation Window: Use of Icons/Hypertext
26.1. On-screen interpretation system:
-Using the spool bar, how does the title, subtitle and keyword system change, as the interpretation shifts from one person to the other? e. g. Sun in Sagittarius (Lars)... keyword as in Interpreter... text shown only on left-hand column changing to... Sun in Scorpio (Birgit).... text shown in right hand column
-In other words the Interpretation window has 3 kinds of "status"
26.1.1. Left-hand column active (When there is an interpretation which only applies for X).
26.1.2. Right-hand column active (When there is an interpretation which only applies for Z).
26.1.3. Both columns active (When there is cross aspect a between X and Z) There is a fourth kind of status -the text showing Sun/Sun, Moon/Moon -and Mutuality/Double Mutuality, etc -see point 26.3.3.
26.2. Use of icons/Hypertext to display the following "Q" texts:
26.2.1. Mutuality and Double Mutuality
26.2.2. Exact aspect (positive, negative)
26.2.3. Introduction texts to Sun (3), Moon (3), Descendant (5), Venus(3), Mars (3), Mercury (3),
Jupiter (1) and Saturn (1).
26.2.4. Sun/Sun, Moon/Moon etc
26.3. Technique to put "merged" texts in the on-screen interpretation? These short texts apply to... 26.3.1. The Descendant in Sign text -which puts in a short key sentence which refers to sign the the planet which rules the Descendant is in. (DSRULE KEY)
26.3.2. The text for Mars in House and Venus in House, where a short key sentence for the sign position of Venus and Mars is put in in the middle of the House text. (VESIGN KEY &MASIGN KEY)
26.3.3. Another possibility is to include them as an icon in the middle of the text... the user clicks on the icon and the text comes as a "hint". A hypertext system. This is probably the best way to solve the whole problem of Intro-texts, Mutuality, Sun/Sun etc (icon comes at beginning of text).
27. Diverse: Animations, Versions
27.1. Several versions of Synastry are to be available:
27.1.1. Floppy Disc version: without animations
27.1.2. Downloadable version: without animations 27.1.3 CD ROM version
27.2. Animations
-How are animations to be activated? Ideas:
27.2.1. Animation icon bar: this shows the 24 options of Mars in the 12 signs V and enus in the 12 signs. Clicking on one shows the video. No -I don't think people should be allowed to just see the videos out of context. Let them be surprised when they are looking at horoscopes!
27.2.2. Whenever Mars or Venus is clicked on -or when the spool bar comes to Mars in Sign or Venus in sign for each individual -an animation icon is shown next to the appropriate name above the appropriate column in the Interpretation Window.
27.3. Special functions.
27.3.1. The Zero Aries function should be shown in the menu and as an option with the right-hand mouse button in the Horoscope Window
