Abstract

The present invention relates to a method of operating a communications system having at least two communications devices (A, B). Each communications device (A, B) is coupled to first and second communications networks (1, 2) which operate in accordance with respective communications protocols. The method involves initializing communication by interconnecting the communications devices via the first communications network (1). Once communication is established, the communications devices are further interconnected via the second communications network (2).
