Abstract

The invention relates to an adapter (1) with an integrated ballast and starter array for circular fluorescent lamps (2) having a pin base (9) for connection to conventional incandescent lamps. The adapter (1) has a parallelepiped housing (3) and a fixing device on both ends surrounding in part the pin base (9) of the fluorescent lamp (2) or the fluorescent lamp (2) itself. The first fixing device additionally has a bracket for receiving and ensuring electrical contact of the pin base (9) and the second fixing device has a snap action device for locking the tube (2).
