Abstract

A product for use in hormone replacement therapy is applied in the form of a topically-applied cosmetic. This may take the form for example of a cream, paste or gel containing a therapeutically-effective amount of the hormone, and may be contained in dosage unit-containing capsules or a pump dispenser. Especially suitable products contain liposome-encapsulated oestrogen and/or progestogen.
