Summary of the Invention
The beverage container of the present invention has a structure that a semi- spherical bottom inner member 3 and a bottom outer member 4 are seamed with a body 2 of a conventional beverage container, whereby a cooling chamber is formed between the bottom inner member and bottom outer member, wherein the cooling chamber is filled with a sponge 6 for absorbing a pressurized liquid cooling agent. A rubber member 16 is fixedly inserted in a hole 13 which is formed at the center of the bottom outer member. A pressurized liquid cooling agent is injected into the cooling chamber through the rubber member. W hen the pressure in the cooling chamber becomes high due to outside heat, for example, fire, the rubber member is struck out and the cooling agent diffuses through the hole into the air. In order to operate the cooling system, a diffusing aperture 14 is formed at a position of the bottom outer member. The diffusing aperture is blocked with an adhesive tape 17 having a tag 18 on the outer surface of the bottom outer member. When the adhesive tape is removed with the tag, the pressurized liquid cooling agent diffuses though the aperture, thereby cooling the contents of the beverage container.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the diffusing aperture 14 is blocked with an adhesive tape 15 on the inner surface of the bottom outer member. When a pin punctures the adhesive tape into the diffusing aperture, the pressurized liquid cooling agent diffuses though the aperture, thereby cooling the contents of the beverage container.

Detailed Description of the Invention
Typically, there are two types of cans. One is a two piece can which is made of aluminum, and the other is a three piece can which is made of steel. A two piece can is used when high pressure is required, for example, when it contains soda, beer or the like. A three piece can is used when low pressure is required, for example, when it contains juice, tea, coffee or the like. Such two and three piece cans are well obvious to those skilled in the art. The beverage container with an enclosed cooling system according to the present invention can apply to both a two piece can and a three piece can.
Fig. 1 illustrates a three piece can with an enclosed cooling system according to the present invention, and Fig. 2 is an exploded view of the three piece can of Fig. 1. In the beverage container of the present invention, a bottom inner member 3 and a bottom outer member 4 are seamed with a body 2 of a conventional beverage container. The bottom inner member is substantially semi- spherical. The radius of the bottom inner member is smaller than that of the bottom outer member, whereby a cooling chamber 31 is formed between the bottom inner member and bottom outer member, wherein the cooling chamber is filled with a sponge 6 for absorbing a pressurized liquid cooling agent. The liquid beverage is received in a storage chamber 30 which is formed with a top member 1 , a body 2 and a bottom inner member 3.
The method for seaming a bottom inner member 3 and a bottom outer member 4 with a body 2 is easily carried out by those skilled in the art.
Fig. 4 is a cross- sectional view of a beverage container according to the present invention . The cooling chamber 31 is formed between the bottom inner member and bottom outer member, and it is filled with a sponge 6 for absorbing a pressurized liquid cooling agent. The sponge provides a cooling effect to continue for some time, until a user finishes drinking the contents, when the cooling system is operated. In other words, the pressurized liquid cooling agent is slowly diffused through a diffusing aperture, when the adhesive tape is removed.
Fig. 5 is a schematic perspective view illustrating a bottom of a beverage container according to the present invention. In the present invention, the diffusing aperture is blocked with an adhesive tape 17 having a tag 18 on the outer surface of the bottom outer member 4. When the adhesive tape is removed with the tag, the pressurized liquid cooling agent diffuses though the aperture, thereby cooling the contents of the beverage container. Accordingly, a sharpened tool like a pin is not required.
As shown in Fig. 6, the bottom outer member 4 has a hole 13, -which is formed at the center, for fixedly inserting a rubber member 16, and a diffusing aperture 14, which is formed at a position of the bottom outer member, for diffusing a pressurized liquid cooling agent. After the diffusing aperture is blocked with an adhesive tape 17 having a tag 18 on the outer surface of the bottom outer member, the bottom outer member is seamed with the bottom inner member and body.
A rubber member 16 is fixedly inserted in a hole 13. A pressurized liquid cooling agent is injected into a sponge 6 of a cooling chamber 31 through the rubber member using an injection needle. The injection needle and process for injecting a cooling agent is easily understood by those skilled in the art. Fig. 7 is a perspective view of a rubber member 16 according to the present invention, and Fig. 8 is a cross- sectional view of a rubber member 16 inserted in a hole 13 of a bottom outer member 4. In order to tightly fix the rubber member to the bottom outer member, a circular groove 21 is formed along the circumstance. In order to insert smoothly the rubber member in the hole 13, a pair of grooved portions 23 and 23 ' are formed. For easy injection of a cooling agent using an injection needle, a top groove 24 and a bottom groove 22 are formed. The rubber member tightly blocks not so as to leak the cooling agent out. However, when the pressure of a cooling agent in the cooling chamber becomes high in case of fire, the rubber member is struck out and the cooling agent diffuses through the hole 13 into the air. Therefore, the rubber member acts an important role as a safety device as well as a means for injecting a pressurized liquid cooling agent.
Cooling agents such as liquid ammonia gas or the like may be used in this invention, which is obvious to those skilled in the art.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the diffusing aperture 14 is blocked with an adhesive tape 15 on the inner surface of the bottom outer member. When a pin punctures the adhesive tape into the diffusing aperture, the pressurized liquid cooling agent diffuses through the aperture, thereby cooling the contents of the beverage container. In order to operate the cooling system before drinking the contents of a beverage container according to the present embodiment, a user punctures the adhesive tape 15 through the diffusing aperture 14 using a sharpened tool such as pin or needle. The beverage container according to the present invention includes a pin onto an opening tab 11 in order to provide a sharpened tool. Fig. 9 illustrates an opening tab 11 with a pin 12, and Fig. 10 illustrates another opening tab 11 with a pin 12. The pin can be easily removed from the open tab by a few repeating actions. When a pin punctures the adhesive tape 15, the pressurized liquid cooling agent diffuses through the aperture into the air, thereby cooling the contents of the beverage container. After the expansion of the pressurized liquid cooling agent is completed and the contents of the container is completely cooled, then the opening tab 11 is pulled to remove and expose the contents of the container for drinking. It will take about 2-3 minutes for the pressurized liquid cooling agent to diffuse completely.
Fig. 3 is an exploded view of a two piece can according to another embodiment of the present invention . In the two piece can the top member and body is formed in a single body, and an opening tab 11 is formed on the top member. The cooling system of the two piece can is identical to that of a three piece can which is described above. The beverage container of the present invention is very simple and easy to use and eliminates the need for ice chests for cooling a drink . Further, the beverage container is safe even in case of fire. The invention being thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. S uch variation s are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the invention and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended o be included in the scope of the following claims .
