Abstract

A piece of cutlery, in particular a spoon or fork for children, has a handling part (16, 17), for example a stem or a handle, and a working part (14), for example a pricking or receiving part. Es ist bekannt, daß Kinder, insbesondere Kleinkinder, dazu neigen, benutztes Eßbesteck nicht in deren Teller zu lassen, sondern vielmehr auf die Tischplatte oder andere Möbel zu legen, was zur Verunreinigung derselben führen kann. Daher wurde bereits in der DE-PS 6 34 217 ein Stielgriff für Bestecke vorgeschlagen, bei dem in bestimmter Position des Bestecks gewährleistet ist, daß das Gabel-Zinktei l den Tisch nicht berührt, jedoch nur dann, wenn das Besteck sich über die Rückfläche des Stielgriffes auf der Auflage abstützt. Ferner ist in der FR-PS 9 28 047 ein Löffel dargestellt, der zwischen seinen Endbereichen eine Stütze aufweist, so daß das Arbeitstei l die Auflagefläche nicht berührt. Die Stütze ist jedoch nicht handhabungsfreundlich. Schließlich ist in der US-PS 1 273 642 ein Löffel offenbart, dessen Stiel um 180° gebogen ist, so daß das Arbeitstei l zur Auflagefläche mit Abstand angeordnet ist.It is known that children, especially small children, tend not to leave used cutlery in their plates, but rather to place them on the table top or other furniture, which can lead to contamination of the same.
