This present invention relates to improvements in a wheeled truck and appertains particularly to an aggregate carrier adapted for use by workers in systematic cleaning of ofiice buildings, apart- 5 ment houses, hotels, schools, institutional quarters and the like, provision being made for an enclosed Wheeled body with removable trays for carrying all cleaning utensils and supplies such as brooms, mops, radiator brushes, vacuum cleaner, polisher, and cleaning and polishing materials and removable catch-all canvas bags suspended from overhanging ends at the top.

The principal object of the invention is to provide a carrier truck, capable of transporting 15 all the required utensils, appliances and supplies and collecting refuse, that may be moved easily about the building by a worker while engaged in a thorough cleaning operation.

A further object of the invention is to provide 0 a carrier of this character having an encased rectangular body supported on wheels and casters, a door in the body afiording ready access thereto, trays and racks for conveniently holding the carriers contents and rounded overhanging ends at 25 the top of said body from which removable canvas catch-ails suspend from both ends exterior of the front and rear of said encased body.

A still further object of the invention is the provision of an aggregate carrier wheeled truck of 30 the nature and for the purposes described, characterized by structural simplicity, durability and operative efiiciency, and being capable of production at a reasonable cost is thereby rendered commercially desirable.

35 To the accomplishment of these and related objects as shall become apparent as the description proceeds, the invention resides in the construction, combination and arrangement of parts as shall be hereinafter more fully described, il-

40 lustrated in the accompanying drawing and pointed out in the claims hereunto appended.

The invention will be best understood and can be more clearly described when reference is had to the drawing forming a part of this disclosure,

wherein like characters indicate like parts throughout the several views.

The device comprises a rectangular body 5 outlined with any suitable material such as metal 55 tubing. The bottom frame 6, is an elongated (oi. zen-s0 rectangle with additional cross braces I joining the opposite sides. Vertical uprights 8 rise from the four corners and unite at the top with a substantially similar top frame 9 that distinguishes from the former or bottom frame 6 in that in addition to the cross ends paralleling and in vertical registry with the corresponding parts of the bottom frame, the top frame is provided with longitudinally extended rounded ends ii] that are formed by projecting the sides and rounding 10 them back to meet the opposite one.

One side of the body frame includes an intermediate upright H from the bottom frame 6 to the top one 9 defining a door opening, with top and bottom frames and one of the corner uprights 8, normally closed by a door l2 supported by hinges l3 welded to the door i2 and upright Ii and releasably held by a spring clip It on the upright 8 engaging the doors free edge. The top frame 6 is reinforced by a cross bar l5 joining one of the sides immediately adjacent the dooropening defining intermediate upright ii. The

ends and sides of the body 5, including the door I2 are covered with wire screen It or the like.

A metal tray IT, with mitre corners i8 to facilitate its removal, fits in the bottom of the body 5 resting on the cross braces 1. Near the top and toward one end of the body 5, a pair of spaced rungs i9 cross from side to side being supported by the screen Iii; these carry a smaller tray 20 whose top rim is about level with the bodys top frame 9. The tray that does not extend the full width of the body is confined longitudinally between the adjacent end of the body 5 and a cross rod 2| carried like the rungs l9 by 5 opposite wire screen and disposed about midway of the height of the tray.

On one side of the body 5, preferably that remote from the door i2 and to which the tray 20 does not quite extend, a pair of outwardly spaced rods 22 and 23 occur; the former placed a considerable distance above the bottom tray H is L shaped and attaches to the side and end screens l6 by its opposite ends while the latter which has inturned ends at right angles to its main position attaches by such ends to the top frame 9 having an intermediate point 24 downwardly offset to avoid the cross bar l5 since both lie in the same horizontal plane. The latter rod 23 though in substantially vertical registry with the former and lower rod 22 is spaced outwardly from the supporting side of the body 5 a lesser distance but is longer, extending well past the inner end of the lower rod 22 on which additional length a couple of hooks 25 are hung. Other such hooks may also be carried by the same side of the top frame 9 beyond the end of the rod 23 and the end of the frame opposite the tray 29.

In each of the open sections defined by the normal ends of the top frame 9 and the rounded extensions ll] thereof, a cylindrical catch-all is suspended comprising a canvas bag 26 whose open mouth encloses a metal ring or hoop 21 carrying circumferentially spaced twisted links 28 free to swing thereon whose upper ends are releasably engaged by hooks 29 loosely confined on the top frame end 9 or rounded extension Ill. In this connection it is noted that the rigid mouth of the canvas bags is of less than the major diameter the open section would allow.

The whole device is mounted on an axle 30 under one end of the lower frame 6 carrying a rubber-tired disk wheel 3| on. each end beyond the edges of the body and a pair of free swivelling castors 32, one under each corner at the other end.

In use, the truck,'as is apparent, may be'easily pushed from place to place, all refuse, rubbish, wastepaper, dirt or waste or soiled material being emptied into the pair of spacious bags provided; all the necessary cleaning appliances, material and paraphernalia are conveniently carried, the vacuum cleaner and polisher resting on the large bottom tray and occupying the main portion of the body; brooms, mops and the like are held in place by the pair of offset rods; dust-pans, bannister brushes and such, hang fromthe hooks around the top while smaller articles, containers and utensils are held readily available in the upper tray. 7

From the foregoing description taken in connection with the accompanying drawing, it will be manifest that a wheeled truck is provided that will fulfill all the necessary requirements of such a device but as many changes could be made in the above description and many apparently widely different embodiments of the invention may be constructed within the scope of the appended claims without departing from the spirit or scope thereof, it is intended that all matters contained in the said accompanying specification and drawing shall be interpreted as illustrative and not in a limitative or restrictive sense.

Having thus described the invention, what is claimed as new is:

1. In a wheeled truck having an upright body enclosed at both sides and ends, and a tray in the bottom thereof, a smaller tray supported level with the top of said body and less than the width thereof so that it lies spaced from one side thereof and a pair of co-operating rods spaced out from that side of said body from which said smaller tray is spaced.

2. In combination with claim 1, said rods being vertically spaced, the upper of said rods being the longer and closer to the adjacent side.

3. In an aggregate carrier, a unitary skeleton truck frame defining an upright body formed of a rectangular outline at top and bottom joined by uprights at the four corners, an intermediate upright on one side between top and bottom rectangular outlines defining a door opening and a transverse reinforcing bar across the top rectangular outline joining a side thereof immediately adjacent said intermediate upright.
