Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a basketball hoop device, and more particularly to a moveable basketball hoop device.
- 2. Description of Related Art
- With reference to
FIG. 7 , a conventionalbasketball hoop device 70 has abackboard 71 and arim 72. Thebackboard 71 is mounted on a wall or a door panel B. Thebackboard 71 is mounted on the door panel B bymultiple bolts 73 as shown inFIG. 6 . Therim 72 is mounted on a side of thebackboard 71. - In use, a user throws a ball through the
rim 72 at a distance from thebasketball hoop device 70 as in outdoor basketball sports for entertainment. However, the basketball hoop device is fixed on the wall or the door panel B, so the position of the basketball hoop device is also fixed. For a child, the position may be too high, and for an adult, the position may be too low. - The main objective of the present invention is to provide a moveable basketball hoop device to resolve the aforementioned problems.
- The moveable basketball hoop device has a mounting module, a backboard and a rim.
- The mounting module has two base belts arranged at an interval.
- The backboard is moveably mounted on the base belts of the mounting module and has a body and multiple fixing buckles. The fixing buckles are mounted on a side of the body, respectively and moveably mounted on the base belts, and respectively and selectively engaged with the base belts.
- The rim is mounted on a side of the body of the backboard opposite to the base belts.
- Other objectives, advantages and novel features of the present invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
-
FIG. 1 is a front view of a first preferred embodiment of a moveable basketball hoop device in accordance with the present invention, shown mounted on a door panel; -
FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the moveable basketball hoop device and the door panel inFIG. 1 ; -
FIG. 3 is an enlarged perspective view of the moveable basketball hoop device inFIG. 1 ; -
FIG. 4 shows operational and enlarged side views of the moveable basketball hoop device inFIG. 1 ; -
FIG. 5 is an exploded perspective view of a second preferred embodiment of the moveable basketball hoop device and the door panel; -
FIG. 6 is an exploded perspective view of a third preferred embodiment of the moveable basketball hoop device and the door panel; and -
FIG. 7 is a front view of a conventional basketball hoop device mounted on a door panel. - With reference to
FIGS. 1 to 4 , a first preferred embodiment of a moveable basketball hoop device in accordance with the present invention has amounting module 1, abackboard 30, and arim 40. - The
mounting module 1 is mounted on a side of a door panel D and has twobase belts 10 and fourfixing portions 20. Thebase belts 10 are elongated and are arranged at an interval. Eachbase belt 10 has a top end and a bottom end. The fourfixing portions 20 are respectively mounted on the two top ends and the two bottom ends of thebase belts 10, such that themounting module 1 can be mounted on the side of the door panel D by the fourfixing portions 20. Preferably, eachfixing portion 20 may be a hook. Thefixing portions 20 can be hooked on the door panel D, wherein two of thefixing potions 20 are hooked on a top of the door panel D, and the other twofixing portions 20 are hooked on a bottom of the door panel D. - Alternatively, the
fixing portions 20 may be formed as buckles and are fastened on the door panel D. - The
backboard 30 is moveably mounted on thebase belts 10 of themounting module 1, and has abody 31 andmultiple fixing buckles 50. Thefixing buckles 50 are mounted on a side of thebody 31 at a position facing toward the door panel D. Preferably, thebackboard 30 has fourfixing buckles 50. Two of thefixing buckles 50 are inserted by one of thebase belts 10, and the other twofixing buckles 50 are inserted by theother base belt 10. - Each
fixing buckle 50 has afixing plate 51, afixing unit 52 and abuckle space 53. Thefixing plate 51 is mounted on the side of thebody 31. Thefixing unit 52 is pivotally mounted on a side of thefixing plate 51 at a position opposite to thebody 31. Thebuckle space 53 is formed between thefixing unit 52 and thefixing plate 51. Thebuckle space 53 is inserted by thecorresponding base belt 10. Thebase belts 10 are respectively clamped tightly by thecorresponding fixing unit 52 and thecorresponding fixing plate 51, such that thebackboard 30 can be fixed on thebase belts 10. - Alternatively, the
backboard 30 may have twofixing buckles 50, wherein the twofixing buckles 50 are mounted on a top portion of thebody 31 and respectively clamp thebase belts 10. - The
rim 40 is mounted on thebody 31 of thebackboard 30 at a side opposite to thebase belts 10. - In use, the
base belts 10 are mounted on the side of the door panel D by thefixing portions 20, wherein thefixing portions 20 are respectively mounted on the top and the bottom of the door panel D. When a height of thebackboard 30 needs to be adjusted, thefixing units 52 are pulled to disengage from thebase belts 10. Then, thefixing units 52 are not pressed and do not abut against thebase belts 10, and the heights of thefixing buckles 50 can be adjusted relative to thebase belts 10. Therefore, a position of thebackboard 30 can be adjusted relative to thebase belts 10. - After the position of the
backboard 30 is adjusted, thefixing units 52 are pushed to press thebase belts 10 to abut against thefixing plate 51 tightly, such that thefixing plate 51 cannot be moved relative to thebase belts 10. Therefore, the position of the moveable basketball hoop device relative to the door panel D can be adjusted according to the demand of a user. - With reference to
FIG. 5 , amounting module 1A of a second preferred embodiment of the moveable basketball hoop device in accordance with the present invention has twofixing portions 20A. Eachfixing portion 20A has a connectingplate 21A and ahook 22A. One of theconnecting plates 21A of thefixing portions 20A is connected with the two top ends of thebase belts 10, and the other connectingplate 21A is connected with the two bottom ends of thebase belts 10. Thehooks 22A are respectively mounted on the connectingplates 21A. The moveable basketball hoop device is mounted on the door panel D by thehooks 22A of thefixing portions 20A. - With reference to
FIG. 6 , amounting module 1B of a third preferred embodiment of the moveable basketball hoop device in accordance with the present invention has twobase belts 10B. Eachbase belt 10B is annular and mounted around the door panel D directly. - From the above description, it is noted that the present invention has the following advantages: the
fixing buckles 50 can be moved relative to thebase belts 10, such that the height of therim 40 can be adjusted. For an adult, therim 40 may be moved to a high position. For a child, therim 40 may be moved to a low position. Therefore, the moveable basketball hoop device is applicable for users of different heights. - Even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the present invention have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and function of the invention, the disclosure is illustrative only, and changes may be made in detail, especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the invention to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
