Description

    CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION
  • This application claims the benefit of priority of U.S. provisional application No. 62/010,806, filed Jun. 11, 2014, the contents of which are herein incorporated by reference.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to a method of applying makeup art iusing a stencil as well as scented art to the body through a colored perfume stick.
  • Cosmetics (known as makeup or make-up) are care substances used to enhance the appearance of the human body. They are generally mixtures of chemical compounds, some being derived from natural sources, many being synthetic. Added to the invention would be scented substance that would go on in color and applied on the stencil, here it could be applied on the body. Currently, most individuals use makeup for their lips, eyes, and cheeks. Adding designs to the lips, eyes and cheeks may be difficult and may require more than one try. As for the scented substance, that would come in different colors and when applied alone could make images from a stencil being placed on the skin first or freehand images.
  • As can be seen, there is a need for a stencil to create makeup designs on a user's face as well as scented designs on the body to give both art and fragrance.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • In one aspect of the present invention, a method of applying makeup comprises: providing a first stencil comprising a cutout portion of a first design; placing the first stencil against a portion of a user's face; applying a makeup over the cutout portion of the first stencil; and removing the first stencil from the user's face, thereby creating a first makeup design. The scented substance could be applied on the body or neck, over the stencil or alone given fragrance and designs at the same time.
  • In another aspect of the present invention, a method of applying makeup comprises: providing a first stencil comprising a cutout portion of a first design; placing the first stencil against a portion of a user's; applying a makeup over the cutout portion of the first stencil; removing the first stencil from the user's face (or body or neck if using a scented substance), thereby creating a first makeup design or scented body design; providing a second stencil comprising a cutout portion of a second design; placing
  • OR with the scented substance created with color applied over the stencil the second stencil against the portion of the user's skin on the user's face that has the makeup design; applying a makeup over the cutout portion of the second stencil; and removing the second stencil from the user's face, thereby creating a second makeup design.
  • These and other features, aspects and advantages of the present invention will become better understood with reference to the following drawings, description and claims.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • The following detailed description is of the best currently contemplated modes of carrying out exemplary embodiments of the invention. The description is not to be taken in a limiting sense, but is made merely for the purpose of illustrating the general principles of the invention, since the scope of the invention is best defined by the appended claims.
  • The present invention includes stencils that are made for makeup applications, such as but not limited to eye shadow, eye liner, blush, and designs on lips using makeup such as creams or powders, colored substances with scent on the neck or body, or unscented or standard makeup that can be used to create the designs. The design may include any design such as but not limited to flowers, hearts, stars, initials, and the like.
  • Referring to FIGS. 1 through 10, the present invention includes at least a first stencil 10. The first stencil 10 may include a cutout portion forming a first design. A user may place the stencil 10 over a portion of the user's face 16. Makeup may be applied over the cutout portion of the first stencil 10. The stencil 10 may be removed from the user's face 16. A makeup design 18 may be created on the user's face 16.
  • In certain embodiments, more than one stencil 10 may be used. For example, a second stencil 12 may include a cutout portion of a second design. The second stencil 12 may be placed against the portion of the user's face 16 that has the first makeup design 18. A makeup of a different color may be applied over the cut out portion of the second stencil 12. Scented substance that has color can be used as hereby invented. The second stencil 12 may be removed from the user's face 16, thereby creating a combination of the first makeup design 18 and a second makeup design 20.
  • The present invention may be applied to the arms as decoration. As illustrated in FIGS. 5 through 7, the present invention may include a first arm stencil 28 and a second arm stencil 30. The first arm stencil 28 and the second arm stencil 30 may be placed against the arm and a scented stick of body make up may be applied to the stencils 28, 30. The markings 32 may be displayed on the user's body.
  • The present invention if used with ones own makeup or cosmetics for the face may be applied to the cheek, lips, and above the eye as eyeliner. If using a colored fragrance/perfume may be used for the body and neck only. The stencils 10, 12 may be shaped according to which portion of the face the stencils 10, 12 are used for. For example, the present invention may include a cheek stencil 24. Further, the cheek stencil 24 may be shaped based on the shape 26 of the user's face 16. As illustrated in FIG. 7 through 10, the present invention may be oval shaped 22, round shaped 22, narrow shaped 22, and square shaped 22 dependent of the shape 26 of the user's face. Further, the present invention may include a face stencil 14.
  • The present invention may include lip stencils. The lip stencils may placed over the lips, and lipstick may be applied. The present invention may include eye shadow stencils. Eye shadow stencils may be shaped to place over the eye with cut outs for eye shadow or eye liner. The present invention may include blush stencils. The blush stencils may be shaped to place over cheeks with cut outs for the blush to appear as a design. In certain embodiments, the stencils may include handles or flap extending from a perimeter to easily grasp the stencil. The present invention may further include a full face stencil, an adjustable device, large makeup stamps that can include or not include makeup ink. Standard makeup or other color, shimmer or glitter material may be used. The present invention includes a makeup stick with fragrance aks perfume stick that has color to be used with stencils that can be applied to the neck and body. This may refer to a fragrant stick, perfume stick, makeup stick with fragrance and with it's colored properties is used solely for applying art and fragrance at the same time when used with the stencis or freehand.
  • It should be understood, of course, that the foregoing relates to exemplary embodiments of the invention and that modifications may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
