Abstract
A Portable Team Pool Cue Rack for supporting multiple billiard cues in a generally upright position. The Portable Team Pool Cue Rack includes a strap for removable attachment to a stool, chair, post or the like. A ridged resilient member is capable of surrounding the circumference of each player's pool cue shaft, so that the base end of the pool cue may be placed on the floor and the shaft of each player's pool cue may be inserted into the member for retention.

- This invention pertains to the use of holders of pool cues, more particularly to the safe storage of pool cues during team play.
- Pool cues are the tools and means for playing the game of pool. A pool cue is made to be straight and true to enable an accurate shot. They are made of fine hard woods, aluminum or fiber glass. They may have inlays of exotic materials. The handle wrapped in fine linen, leather or other grips. Pool cues range in price into the thousands of dollars. Personal pool cues are very valuable. Leagues have been formed to play pool in a recreation type format, gathering friends and family together for a little friendly competition. During play one or two people play while four to eight people wait to play. The people waiting need someplace to store their valuable pool cue. Pool halls, bar rooms and recreation halls usually have pool cues available to play. They are stored in a pool cue rack usually attached to the wall and sometimes on the floor. The pool cue racks are often a distance from the table on which you will be playing or if the pool cue rack is close it is occupied. My invention allows players waiting their turn to stand their pool cues upright in a secure pool cue rack that can be attached to any chair, stool or column; keeping a teams pool cues together and safe between matches.
- A portable team pool cue rack for attaching to a support base (chair, stool or post) includes a strapping device long enough to encircle the base and has a connector (double D, clasp, buckle or button) to secure the strap. A back on which to attach strap (by staples, screws or nails) and which attaches to the base, the base having holes drilled equally sized and spaced large enough to accommodate said pool cue. The back and base of portable team cue rack is being formed from any solid material such as wood, plastic or metal.
- The following drawings are based on the prototype.
-
FIG. 1 is an example of present invention, portable team pool cue rack, in typical use during a tournament or league play. -
FIG. 2 is a Top elevation of portable team pool cue rack embodying the present invention. -
FIG. 3 is a Back view of portable team pool cue rack embodying the present invention. -
FIG. 4 is the End view of portable team pool cue rack showing the Tee formation of the present invention. -
FIG. 5 is a Front view of portable team pool cue rack - The present invention relates to a portable team pool cue rack. The main objective of the present invention is to provide a portable team pool cue rack that may be attached around any chair, stool or post. Furthermore an object of present invention is to provide a portable team pool cue rack that is simple and easy to manufacture.

Portable pool cue holder (10) has ten equally sized and spaced apertures (4) (with three of them being used by pool cues and a bridge inFIG. 1 ) to hold and maintain an upright, accessible and safe central location for storing your teams valuable pool cues. -
FIG. 2 illustrates the top view of the portable team pool cue holder (10) and shows the strap (1) approximately 42 inches long to fit around many size receptacles. The strap (1) is attached to the plate (2) and base (3) by staples or screws. The base (3) has ten equally sized and spaced holes (4) large enough for the butt of a pool cue to fit through. -
FIG. 3 illustrates the back view of the portable team pool cue holder having strap (1), approximately 42 inches long allowing for many sized receptacles, attached by staples or screws to the back (2). -
FIG. 4 illustrates the end view of portable team pool cue holder with strap (1) attached to back (2) and base (3) with staples or screws forming a solid foundation for the safe storage of a teams valuable pool cues. -
FIG. 5 illustrates the front view of portable team pool cue holder with back (2) in a vertical position and base (3) in a horizontal position.
