Abstract
A toothpaste container includes a flexible tube and a cap on the front end thereof. The toothpaste is filled into the toothpaste container through an opening on rear end thereof. By squeezing the flexible tube, toothpaste is out through a tube hole on front end thereof. The invention is characterized in that the tube hole of the flexible tube is rectangular and is at an angle of 20-70 degrees to the horizontal in lateral view. Threads are arranged on the outer wall of the tube hole for combing with the cap.
Description
- (a) Field of the Invention
- The present invention provides a toothpaste container, especially to a kind of toothpaste container with improved tube hole so that toothpaste being squeezed has larger contact area with the brush and attaches on the brush more firmly. Moreover, the amount of toothpaste being used is also reduced.
- (b) Description of the Prior Art
- Generally, most of toothpaste containers are made of two kind of material-metal or rubber. Recently, rubber replaces metal due to the requirements of low cost and light weight. Refer to
FIG. 1 , the toothpaste packaging is a flat tube (a) with a round tube hole (a1). Threads (a2) are arranged on the outer wall of the hole (a1). Toothpaste is filled into the tube (a) through the opening (a3) on the rear end of the tube (a). Then the opening (a3) is closed by welding or high frequency welding and a cap (c) is threaded into the front end of the tube (a). While being used, press the tube (a) to squeeze the toothpaste (b), through the round tube (a1) on the brush (d). The toothpaste (b) is cylindrical so that the contact area between it and the brush (d) is quite limited and the toothpaste (b) is easy to come off. Moreover, it's often for users to squeeze too much amount of toothpaste (b) on the brush (d) and cause some kind of waste. There is a space for improvement of the toothpaste container. - Therefore, it is a primary object for the present invention to provide a toothpaste container that makes the toothpaste attach on the brush directly with larger contact area so as to avoid the problem of easily falling off. Also the amount of the toothpaste being squeezed is reduced.
- The accomplishment of the above-mentioned objects of the present invention will become apparent from the following description and its accompanying drawings which disclose illustrative an embodiment of the present invention, and are as follows:
-
FIG. 1 is a schematic drawing showing an embodiment of a prior art. -
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the present invention. -
FIG. 3 is a lateral view of the present invention. -
FIG. 4A is a schematic drawing of a prior art while being used. -
FIG. 4B is a schematic drawing of a prior art while being used. -
FIG. 5A is a schematic drawing showing the toothpaste being squeezed from the present invention. -
FIG. 5B is a schematic drawing showing the toothpaste being squeezed from the present invention. -
FIG. 6 is a lateral view showing the toothpaste being squeezed from the present invention. - Refer to
FIG. 2 &FIG. 3 , a toothpaste container according to the present invention includes aflexible tube 10 and acap 20 on the front end thereof. Atube hole 11 of theflexible tube 10 is in rectangular shape. In lateral view, thetube hole 11 has a slope inclined at 20 to 70 degrees to the horizontal. Andthreads 12 on the outer wall of thetube hole 11 for connecting with thecap 20. - Refer from
FIG. 4A toFIG. 5B , the toothpaste being squeezed from theround hole 3 of theconventional toothpaste container 1 is different in shape from that squeezed from therectangular tube hole 11 of the present invention. The cross section of thetoothpaste 2 from the present invention is rectangular while the cross section of thetoothpaste 2 from conventional containers is round. The contact area between the tubular-shaped toothpaste 2 and thebrush 4 a of thetoothbrush 4 is less than that between therectangular toothpaste 2 and thebrush 4 a of thetoothbrush 4 thus the later has larger adhesion and won't come off from thebrush 4 a. Moreover, the cross sectional area of therectangular toothpaste 2 is less than that of the round-shaped toothpaste 2 so that while both are squeezed in a certain length, the amount of therectangular toothpaste 2 is less than that of the round-shaped toothpaste 2. Through the increasing of the usage times, the amount of thetoothpaste 2 is effectively saved. - Refer to
FIG. 6 , people always hold the holding thetoothpaste container 1 at an angle ranged from 20 to 70 degrees while squeezing thetoothpaste 2. In lateral view of the present invention, thetube hole 11 already inclines 20 to 70 degrees so as to make thetoothpaste 2 firmly attached on thebrush 4 a of thetoothbrush 4. - It is of course to be understood that the embodiments described herein is merely illustrative of the principles of the invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
