Abstract

A wall-mounting supporter includes a wall plate including two side plates having a plurality of fixing holes respectively; two supporting seats arranged on the outer sides of the side plates and connected with the same through pivots so that each supporting seat is rotatable with respect to the side plate by means of the pivot, each supporting seat being provided with a receiving space for fixing a display; and a plurality of movable rods fixed outside the supporting seats for being inserted in the fixing holes of the side plates following to rotation of the supporting seats.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates generally to a display supporter, and particularly to a wall-mounting supporter for display.
  • 2. The Prior Arts
  • According to the advancement of technology, the display has evolved recently from the traditional CRT (cathode ray tube) style into the thinner LCD (liquid crystal display) or plasma display.
  • An LCD is usually provided with a specifically designed base for standing the LCD on a desk or table. However, there is an annoyance when mounting an LCD on the wall or building a television-wall is desired. Under such a situation, some may suggest hanging a display on the wall with a steel wire, or something workable, however, the best way is to offer a specifically designed stable wall-mounting supporter.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary object of the present invention is to provide a wall-mounting supporter for fixing a display stably on the wall, of which an inclination angle is adjustable.
  • In order to realize above object, a wall-mounting supporter comprises: a wall plate provided with two side plates having a plurality of fixing holes respectively; two supporting seats arranged on the outer sides of the side plates and connected with the same through pivots, thereby each supporting seat can be rotated with respect to the side plate by means of the pivot, and each supporting seat being provided with a receiving space for fixing a display; and a plurality of movable rods fixed outside the supporting seats for being inserted in the fixing holes of the side plates following to rotation of the supporting seats.
  • The merits of a wall-mounting supporter of the present invention may be summarized as the following: (1) The inclination angle of a display is adjustable. (2) A display could be fixed stably on the wall to avoid any unnecessary sway or spoil. (3) The structure is simple to thereby save cost and labor.
  • For more detailed information regarding advantages or features of the present invention, at least one example of preferred embodiment will be described below with reference to the annexed drawings, in which:
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a wall-mounting supporter of the present invention;
  • FIG. 2 is a perspective view, in an enlarged scale, of the combination of a side plate and a supporting member of the present invention;
  • FIGS. 3A and 3B are lateral views showing the using states of the present invention;
  • FIG. 4 is a front view showing a cutaway sectional part of FIG. 1; and
  • FIG. 5 shows a using state of a display combined with the present invention.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a wall-mounting supporter of the present invention. The wall-mounting supporter of the present invention comprises a wall plate 1, two supporting seats 3, and a plurality of movable rods 5.
  • Also referring to FIGS. 2, 3A, 3B, and 4, the wall plate 1 is connected with a side plate 2 on each of two sides thereof, in which the wall plate 1 and those side plates 2 are preferably formed integrally for simplifying the assembling job for mass production and saving the cost.
  • Each supporting seat 3 is located on an outer side of each side plate 2 and connected with the same via a spindle 4, and each side plate 2 is provided with a plurality of fixing holes 21.
  • The movable rods 5, preferably two pieces, located on an outer side of each supporting seat 3, are movably inserted in the fixing holes 21. As indicated in FIG. 4, each movable rod 5 further comprises a pull knob 51, an insertion pin 52, and a fixing cylinder 54, in which the insertion pin 52 is connected with the pull knob 51 by means of a bearing shaft 53 such that the pull knob 51 can be rotated along the bearing shaft 53 (along the arrowhead of Y-axis shown in FIG. 2). The fixing cylinder 54 is fixed on the outer side of the supporting seat 3. One end of a resilient device 55 (a spring, for example) is attached to an end portion 54A of the fixing cylinder 54, and the other end is checked at a T-type end portion 52A of the insertion pin 52, such that the insertion pin 52 is movable elastically in the fixing cylinder 54, where the insertion pin 52 has a shorter diameter than the inner diameter of the fixing holes 21. Therefore, when the pull knob 51 is pulled in the arrowhead direction shown in FIG. 4, the resilient device 55 is compressed, and it is released to enable the end portion 52A of the insertion pin 52 to be inserted again in the fixing hole 21 upon the removal of the external force.
  • As shown in FIGS. 3A and 3B, the supporting seats 3 can be rotated relatively to the side plates 2. In other words, a relative rotation between the supporting seat 3 and the side plate 2 may be effected by pulling the pull knob 51 of the movable rod 5 outwardly such that the insertion pin 52 is dragged out of the fixing hole 21; or, on the contrary, the supporting seat 3 will be locked to the side plate 2 by releasing the pull knob 51.
  • When reference is made to FIGS. 1 and 2, each supporting seat 3 is provided with a receiving space 30 for installation of a display. When installing a display, a user is supposed to fix the wall plate 1 first by fixing a screw hole H1 to the wall, then, placing a supporting post P arranged at a rear casing of the display M in the receiving space 30, and locking a bolt in a screw hole H2 to have the display M installed on the supporting seat 3 of the wall-mounting supporter of the present invention. Moreover, by availing the rotation of the supporting seat 3 with respect to the side plate 2 controlled by the movable rod 5, to adjust the inclination angle of the display M is possible. Also, to fix the display M by using the wall-mounting supporter of the present invention, any unstable sway of the display can be avoided.
  • In the above described, at least one preferred embodiment has been described in detail with reference to the drawings annexed, and it is apparent that numerous changes or modifications may be made without departing from the true spirit and scope thereof, as set forth in the claims below.
