Abstract

The Internet Studio is the process of recording an individual's voice with use of a personal computer, using only a Headphones, Microphone, Audio Recording Software, Audio Recording Sound Card and Internet Access. With use of these tools the average consumer would have the ability to record his or her voice, into a personal computer, after gaining access to the Internet. He or she will be able to use the Internet Studio metronomes, as a reference, ranging from 80 to 155, to record. Once the consumers completed the recording, they would then annotate the Metronomes speed, used in the recording. The consumer would then upload the vocals to the Internet Studio folder or Web Server, where it would, be downloaded and totally enhanced by myself or my staff.

  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • Today there are plenty of different types of recording method's, and techniques available for recording people's voice or voices. What makes my method different from the rest, is that with my method, the average consumer will be able to record, his or her voice from the comfort of his or her living room, dorm room, car garage, or what ever he or she may feel comfortable, in order for him or her to achieve his sound, that he or she is comfortable with an order to complete his o r her song. With the Creation of the Internet Studio, the necessary tools in order to complete this process are:
      • 1. Microphone
      • 2. Headset or Headphones
      • 3. Computer, With Accessories (Mouse, Computer Keyboard,)
      • 4. Computer monitor
      • 5. Internet Access
      • 6. Audio Software installed with computer
      • 7. Computer Sound Card
  • With These Tools, the Average Consumer, Will Then Have the Ability to Record His or Her Voice, into Their Computer. After Using the Headset to Hear the Metronomes, That I Will Make Available on My Web Site, Ranging from Speeds of 80 to 155, in Order for Them to Have a Wide Range and Selections of Speeds, to Record Their Song and Vocals.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • My Present Invention: entitled “The Internet Studio”, gives the average consumer the ability to record his or her voice, from the comfort, of his or her A Home, Office, Dorm Room, Home Garage, or were ever he or she might feel comfortable, in recording his or her voice.
  • The procedure is as follows, the consumer would purchase a Microphone, Headphone, Computer, and Audio Recording Software. Windows 98, Windows Millennium, in the majority of the Windows operating systems, comes equipped with Audio Recording Software.
  • The consumer would place the headphones over the ears, in order to hear only the metronomes, supply on the Internet studio web site, ranging from speeds of 80 to 155, once the consumer has found a metronomes speed that's comfortable for him or her to sing too. Using the headphones to judge or, to distinguish the difference in speeds in order to find a comparable rate.
  • He or she would then proceed in recording his or her vocals into the computer, using the metronomes at his reference of speeds. The average metronomes length will have a time length of two to five minutes. The ones that will be available on the web site will be at approximately 3 minutes and 20 seconds.
  • The consumer has the choice o f singing his or her song, with just the vocals using the Metronomes as guidance, and also has the option o f recording the vocals in separate pieces, in order to make recording easier for them to complete the song.
  • Once he or she is satisfied, with the results of his or her voice, the consumer can then save the voice to his or her computer in a folder in what ever format, necessary for them to place and the Tooruffproductions, Internet Studio Folder, on the Internet Studio Server.
  • Once the Consumer Has Uploaded to File to the Internet Studio Server, the Vocals Will Then Be Removed, and Using the Information from the Consumer, which will then state the speed of the Metronomes, that he or she used as reference to sing along with. At This Time Using the Information the Voice will Then Be Matched Using the Studio Equipment at the Internet Studio.
  • Once the Vocals Are Matched up at the Internet Studio, a new original beat will be Created, and Then Music will Be Created in Place with the Vocals. At this time effect can be added to the vocals also, new music added to the vocals, a new beat is added to the vocals, which will at this time give the song a more, enhanced professional complete sound.
  • The song can then be deemed to complete, and a small portion will be placed on the server, for the consumer to listen to, as reference to decide whether he or she likes the original music, that has been created to go along with the previous voice, that was sent from the consumer to the Internet Studio.
  • Once the consumer has clicked on the music that has been created for his or her vocals, and deemed, that he or she does like the production, at that time they will be able to pay the remaining balance, once the remaining balance has been paid for example the $80, completing a $100 total price.
  • The completed music, of a three-minute and 20 seconds song or four-minute song, will then be placed up on the server, for the consumer to download the complete song. Once the consumer has downloaded the complete song, to his or her computer, he or she can then burn the song to a CD, Cassette, or what ever Audio Device necessary for the consumer, to let friends, Relatives, or Industrial Representatives listen to his or her product.
  • And by using the Internet Studio that I've created, this all has been done without leaving the residence, of the Average Consumer.
