hole 117 and engaging thenut 143, thethird control screw 141 engages theauxiliary nut 145. Thus, after theauxiliary nut 145 engages thethird control screw 141, thethird control screw 141 penetrates the second throughhole 117, and thenut 143 engages thethird control screw 141, theauxiliary nut 145 and thenut 143 oppose each other on opposite sides of thesecond cover bracket 115, to maintain a predetermined distance between thesecond cover bracket 115 and thefirst door bracket 121. - The built-in
refrigerator 100 according to the first embodiment of the present invention comprises thedoor bracket 120 on thetop edge 106 of thedoor 105, and further comprises: at least one supportingbracket 150 combining abottom edge 107 of thedoor 105 and thecover part 110; and a third combining unit (to be described later) combining thedoor 105 and the supportingbracket 150 so as to control a distance between thedoor 105 and the supportingbracket 150. In one embodiment, the supportingbracket 150 is disposed on thetop edge 106 of thedoor 105, and thedoor bracket 120 is disposed on thebottom edge 107 of thedoor 105. - As is shown in FIGS. 3 and 5, the supporting
bracket 150 includes a first supportingbracket 151 combined to thecover part 110, and a second supportingbracket 153 extended from the first supportingbracket 151 and combined to thebottom edge 107 of thedoor 105. According to one aspect, the supportingbracket 150 is disposed on thebottom edge 107 of thedoor 105 in a pair. - According to one aspect, the first supporting
bracket 151 is combined to the backside of thecover part 110 byscrews 154. - According to one aspect, the second supporting
bracket 153 is bent from the first supportingbracket 151, and is parallel with thebottom edge 107 of thedoor 105, and has a third throughhole 155, through which afourth control screw 161 passes, thereby defining the third combining unit. - According to one aspect, a diameter of the third
penetrating hole 155 is bigger than a thread of thefourth control screw 161, to make thefourth control screw 161 movable within a predetermined distance, but is smaller than a head of thefourth control screw 161 to prevent the head of thefourth control screw 161 from passing through the thirdpenetrating hole 155. - The third combining unit combines the
door 105 and the second supportingbracket 153, and controls the distance between thedoor 105 and the second supportingbracket 153. The third combining unit is thefourth control screw 161, which is screwed to thebottom edge 107 of thedoor 105, penetrating the third throughhole 155 of the second supportingbracket 153. Therefore, the supportingbracket 150 and thethird combining unit 161 support thebottom edge 107 of thedoor 105, making thebottom edge 107 of the door movable within the predetermined distance from thecover part 110. - With this configuration, a combination and a control process of positioning the
cover part 110 with respect to thedoor 105 of the built-inrefrigerator 100, according to the first embodiment of the present invention, are described as follows, with reference to FIGS. 2-8B. - At first, the containing
part 201 of thecabinet 200 accommodates themain body 101 of the built-inrefrigerator 100. Then, thecover bracket 111 is screwed to the backside of thecover part 110, which is installed on thedoor 105 corresponding to thestorage compartment 103 of themain body 101. Thetop edge 106 of thedoor 105 and thefirst door bracket 121 of thedoor bracket 120 are combined with thescrews 126. Thereafter, the first combiningunit 130 combines thecover bracket 111 and thedoor bracket 120. - To combine the
cover bracket 111 and thedoor bracket 120, thefirst control screw 131 is screwed to the first screwinghole 124 of thesecond door bracket 123 until the end of thefirst control screw 131 reaches thefirst cover bracket 113. Thesecond control screw 133 passes through the first throughhole 125 of thesecond door bracket 123, and is then screwed to the second screwinghole 114 of thefirst cover bracket 113. At this point, the distance between thesecond door bracket 123 and thefirst cover bracket 113 can be controlled by rotation of thefirst control screw 131 and the second control screw 133 (the first combining unit 130). That is, to increase the distance between thesecond door bracket 123 and thefirst cover bracket 113, thefirst control screw 131 is advanced toward thefirst cover bracket 113, while loosening thesecond control screw 133. Contrarily, to decrease the distance between thesecond door bracket 123 and thefirst cover bracket 113, thefirst control screw 131 is loosened, while advancing thesecond control screw 133 toward the first cover bracket 113 (refer to FIG. 6). - Thus, the distance between the
second door bracket 123 and thefirst cover bracket 113 is easily controlled, so that thestorage compartment 103 of themain body 101 can be opened and closed, properly. - The
second cover bracket 115 of thecover bracket 111 and thefirst door bracket 121 of thedoor bracket 120 are combined by means of thesecond combining unit 140. The combination process with thesecond combining unit 140 is performed such that thethird control screw 141 of thefirst door bracket 121 is engaged with theauxiliary nut 145, and then penetrates the second throughhole 117 of thesecond cover bracket 115. Thereafter, thenut 143 engages thethird control screw 141, and then theauxiliary nut 145 and thenut 143 are fastened until they reach thesecond cover bracket 115. At this point, the distance between thefirst door bracket 121 and thesecond cover bracket 115 can be controlled by means of thenut 143 and theauxiliary nut 145. That is, to increase the distance between thefirst door bracket 121 and thesecond cover bracket 115, theauxiliary nut 145 and thenut 143 are rotated such that thefirst door bracket 121 is moved away from thesecond cover bracket 115. Contrarily, to decrease the distance between thefirst door bracket 121 and thesecond cover bracket 115, theauxiliary nut 145 and thenut 143 are rotated such that thefirst door bracket 121 is moved toward the second cover bracket 115 (refer to FIGS. 7A and 7B). - Thus, the
second combining unit 130 enables thestorage compartment 103 of themain body 101 to be suitably opened and closed by moving thedoor 105 up and down, relative to thecover part 110. - The
door bracket 120 and thesecond door bracket 123 can be moved relative to thecover bracket 111, because the diameter of the first throughhole 125 is bigger than the of thesecond control screw 133, and the second throughhole 117 of thesecond cover bracket 115 is bigger than the thread of thethird control screw 141. Hence, thedoor bracket 120 can be moved right and left, relative to thecover bracket 111, by virtue of the first throughhole 125 and the second throughhole 117, as described above (refer to FIGS. 8A and 8B). - Thus, the first through
hole 125 and the second throughhole 117 enable thestorage compartment 103 of themain body 101 to be properly opened and closed by moving thedoor 105 right and left relative to thecover part 110. - Because the third through
hole 155 of the supportingbracket 150 is larger in diameter than the thread of thefourth control screw 161, thebottom edge 107 ofdoor 105 is movable relative to thecover part 110. - Thus, the supporting
bracket 150 and thefourth control screw 161 enable thebottom edge 107 of thedoor 105 to be movably supported relative to thecover part 110. - As is illustrated in FIGS. 9 and 10, according to one aspect, the built-in
refrigerator 100 further comprises adoor bracket cover 170 combined with thecover bracket 111 and thedoor bracket 120. - The
door bracket cover 170 is supported by thecover bracket 111 at one side thereof, and is supported by thedoor bracket 120 at the other side thereof, to allow thedoor bracket 120 to be movable within a predetermined distance relative to thecover bracket 111. Thedoor bracket cover 170 has a first supportingpart 171 supported by a first supportingplate 118, extended from thefirst cover bracket 113; and a second supportingpart 173 supported by a second supportingplate 127 disposed on both end sides of thefirst door bracket 121. - Thus, the
door bracket cover 170 covers thedoor bracket 121 and thecover bracket 111, thereby preventing these twobrackets door 105 is opened and closed, in other words, as thebracket 121 moves relative to thecover bracket 111. Hence thedoor bracket 170 cover improves the appearance. - As is shown in FIGS. 11 and 12, according to one aspect, the built-in
refrigerator 100 further comprises a supportingbracket cover 180 combined with the supportingbracket 150. - The supporting
bracket cover 180 includes acover base 181 disposed between the supportingbracket 150 and thecover part 110; and arotating cover body 183 rotatably combined to thecover base 181, and covering the supportingbracket 150. - According to one aspect, a
film hinge 187 connects therotating cover body 183 and thecover base 181, so that therotating cover body 183 can rotatably combined to thecover base 181. Ahook 185 disposed on therotating cover body 183, and ahook holder 182 disposed on thecover base 181 accommodating thehook 185, are provided for the combination of thecover base 181 and therotating cover body 183. According to one aspect, therotating cover body 183 comprises a fourth throughhole 184, so that the thread of thefourth control screw 161 can pass through the throughhole 184 after therotating cover body 183 is combined to thecover base 181. - Therefore, the supporting
bracket cover 180 covers the supportingbracket 150, thereby preventing the supportingbracket 150 from being exposed outside, and improving the appearance. Also, according to one aspect, thefourth control screw 161 can pass through the fourth throughhole 184 with ease, without separating therotating cover body 183 from thecover base 181. - FIG. 13 is a perspective view of the
door 105 and thecover part 110 of the built-inrefrigerator 100 according to a second embodiment of the present invention. - As FIG. 13 illustrates, the
door bracket 120 is disposed on thetop edge 106 and thebottom edge 107 of thedoor 105. That is, rather than the supportingbracket 150 of the first embodiment, thedoor bracket 120 is disposed on thebottom edge 107 of thedoor 105, instead. - Though the
door bracket 120 and the supportingbracket 150 are combined to thetop edge 106 of thedoor 105 and thebottom edge 107 of thedoor 105 respectively in the above-described embodiments, according to one embodiment, thedoor bracket 120 and the supportingbracket 150 are combined to side edges of thedoor 105. - As is described above, according to the present invention, the built-in
refrigerator 100 can control the distance between thedoor 105 and thecover part 100, to open and/or close thestorage compartment 103 of themain body 101. - In addition, the
door 105 can be moved up and down by thesecond combining unit 140 and right and left by the first and the second throughholes cover part 110. - Also, the
door bracket cover 170 and the supportingbracket cover 180 provide a fine appearance. - Although a few embodiments of the present invention have been shown and described, it will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that changes may be made in these embodiments without departing from the principles and spirit of the invention, the scope of which is defined in the claims and their equivalents.
