N The present invention relates to improvements in motion picture screens, one object of the invention being the provision of a portable support therefor, whereby when the screen is not in use the support is readily knocked down and collapsed to be stored for easy. shipment, or portability.

Another object of this invention is the provision of a trunk carried portable screen and mount in which the trunk per se forms the main base, and which when the screen is in use, supports the adjustable and collapsible in the desired position during the projection of pictures, yet permitting the screen to be readily knocked down and the supporting .portions thereof collapsed and placed within the trunk.

With the foregoing and other objects in view, which will appear as the description proceeds, the invention resides in the combination and arrangement of parts and in the details of construction hereinafter dechanges in the precise embodiment of the invention herein disclosed can be made within the scope of what is claimed without departing from the spirit of the invention.

In order to provide a removable standard or support, two rods 10 and 11 are-telesco- 9 and thusfsupport the rods 10 and 11 in avertical position. 5 A screen supporting casting 13 is provided with a channeled lug 14 to receive the upper end of the rod 11 which maybe adjustably',

attached therethrough through: the medium of a thumb screw 15. By this means the casting 13 is supported at the desired height above the trunk.

What is claimed is: L
