Abstract

Has a data processing system which determines from memorized data and user provided data types of color results which can be achieved. Description

The present invention relates to a device for providing advice personalized in terms of hair coloring.

To guide women in the choice of coloring products, in particular in the choice of coloring creams intended to dye the hair in a given color whatever their starting color, it is known to print on the cases of these, shade tables, comprising for example three starting colors, know light, medium, or dark hair, as well as three corresponding shades obtained after application of the coloring product.

For products having a lightening effect, it is known to print shade tables corresponding to the hair color before and after application of the coloring product, as well as the results obtained using the other products of the range, in order to facilitate the choice of the range and the product which will make it possible to obtain the most suited to the natural hair color.

Choosing a coloring product turns out to be quite difficult in practice, because women sometimes have to sort through the large amount of information on everyone the cases on the shelves, and usually have a limited time for this make.

In addition, the indications on the cases are not always very precise and may lead a woman to think that a color result can be achieved while in fact it is a neighboring color result which will be achieved, which is likely cause disappointment.

We also know from WO 00/15073, EP 290 327 or US 4 434 467, coloring aid devices in which the user enters the color directly exact finish desired. These devices are not entirely satisfactory.

  • offer the user products or sets of products chosen from among the products listed according to the types of color result that can be achieved and the type of color result desired.

By “capture device”, we must understand any acquisition device information, whether that information is entered manually on a keyboard or touch screen for example, or acquired automatically, at least in part, at using a portable device, for example.

By "type of color result" is meant information relating to the hair coloring, wider than the exact final color desired by the user. It can be a term or an expression that can generally qualify a staining result, in particular used to indicate whether after coloring, the color of hair is significantly modified or not, if the coloring is overall or limited to strands, or expressing a purpose, for example the concealment of hair white.

To do this, the device 1 comprises a reading motor 35 arranged to read, among the products of the set P _1,2 , the result duration or durations appearing among these products.

FIG. 10 shows three durations of corresponding result respectively to "a shampoo", "some shampoos" and "6 to 8 weeks", and on the figure 11 the duration of result "permanent".

The device 1 asks the user in step 25 to select a duration result or, if applicable, confirm the sole proposed duration of result, in pressing the corresponding action button, which allows information 38 to be entered. Figure 4.
