Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Mikrocontroller (MC) mit mindestens einer Einrichtung (G) zur Erzeugung pulsweiten- oder frequenzmodulierter Steuersignale für ein Schaltnetzteil. Erfindungsgemäß besitzt diese Einrichtung (G) eine Vorrichtung (SQ1, SS1) zum abwechselnden Laden und Entladen eines mit dem Mikrocontroller (MC) verbindbaren elektrischen Ladungsspeichers (C27), Steuermittel für diese Vorrichtung (SQ1, SS1) zum Steuern der Lade- und Entladevorgänge und Auswertungsmittel, um die Zeitspannen, die für die einzelnen Lade- und Entladevorgänge benötigt werden, zur Erzeugung von pulsweiten- oder frequenzmodulierten Steuersignalen auszuwerten. Der erfindungsgemäße Mikrocontroller (MC) generiert fein abgestufte, frequenzmodulierte oder pulsweitenmodulierte Steuersignale, die unabhängig von der Arbeitstaktfrequenz des Mikrocontrollers (MC) sind.
Die Erfindung betrifft ferner ein Schaltnetzteil mit einem derartigen Mikrocontroller (MC) und ein Elektronisches Vorschaltgerät zum Betrieb mindestens einer elektrischen Lampe sowie ein Betriebsverfahren für elektrische Lampen. Die frequenzoder pulsweitenmodulierten Steuersignale für die Wechselrichtertransistoren (V2, V3), für den Hochsetzstellertransistor (V1) und für den Transistor (V4) der Lampenelektrodenheizvorrichtung des Vorschaltgerätes werden unmittelbar von dem Mikrocontroller (MC) generiert.
