Abstract

The invention relates to a cosmetic care product comprised of two components, whereby the first component consists of at least one care substance and the second component consists of a usual cosmetic carrier medium which does not contain a care substance. The invention relates to a care product, in particular a hair care product, which is in the form of a two-component agent, the first component containing care substances and the second component comprising essentially non-care usual cosmetic carriers or basic substances, and wherein the components up to Application are separate and mixed in variable amounts in the end product.

Hair and skin are adversely affected in their physical, chemical and morphological properties by influences of various types. In particular, the unprotected skin and the scalp hair are continuously exposed to climatic influences, for example differences in air humidity and temperature or sun exposure. Cosmetic treatments such as frequent bleaching, perming and dyeing and even frequent washing of the hair with degreasing surfactants damage the hair structure. The hair becomes brittle and loses its natural shine. The hair damaged in this way becomes electrostatically charged when combing and brushing, and the roughened hair surface leads to poor combability and detangling of the hair due to matting and knotting.

Such hair changes can occur temporarily and continuously.

In addition to the exogenous influences mentioned, which have a strong influence on the given condition of the skin and hair, the individual condition of the skin and hair plays a very important role in proper care and in the choice of the care product to be used. The structure of hair, in particular, is also different between different human populations.

In addition, the natural aging process requires a continuous change in the skin and hair condition. Due to the differences in hair and skin, which can be serious between people within a population group or even between individuals, individual skin and hair care cannot be carried out with the care products available to date. In this case, a large number of finished care products with different amounts of care product additives would have to be provided in order to enable individual cosmetic care, which is not practical.

A variety of requirements are placed on hair care products. They are intended to improve combability, grip, elasticity, shine and volume while at the same time minimizing stress. Hair stress is a tangible and noticeable deposit of substances on the hair for the user of a hair treatment agent, which gives the user the impression of unclean hair. The previous care products cannot satisfy the requirements for an individual care effect, so that there is a previously unsatisfied need for this.

Negative hair conditions can still be improved with the help of conventional hair treatments. Hair treatments with a nourishing and combability-improving effect are therefore of great importance for modern hair care. Hair conditioners are usually in the form of emulsions or suspensions containing monoalcohols or fatty alcohols, waxes, oils or lipids, anionic, amphoteric, nonionic or cationic surfactants or emulsifiers. Emulsifiers, especially cationic emulsifiers, contribute significantly to the care effect.

However, it is a disadvantage of such hair care products that the care effect is closely related to the emulsion properties. This means that the amount of cationic surfactants to be used as care products is subject to narrow limits. With a high concentration, it would be possible to achieve advantageous emulsion properties, but, on the other hand, it would have adverse effects on the skin and hair. So, especially with undamaged hair, a too strong care effect can occur, which results in a strong Stresses the hair both when wet and dry. If the care is too strong, the hair can even have a reverse effect, making the hair dull and difficult to comb after the treatment than before the treatment. Lower concentrations of cationic surfactants do not cause skin damage, but on the other hand do not allow usable emulsions to develop and only have an unsatisfactory care effect.

In the case of the known hair care products, the care effect can therefore only be set insufficiently, because otherwise emulsion properties such as stability, viscosity and creamy feel are adversely affected.

In addition, cationic emulsifiers have the additional disadvantages that they are irritating to the mucous membrane and are not biodegradable or poorly biodegradable.

In addition to hair care products with cationic emulsifiers, those in the form of anionic hair care emulsions are also known. However, these hair care products have the disadvantage of an insufficient care effect, which cannot be significantly increased by further additions of, for example, amphoteric or nonionic surfactants.

For example, a hair care product is described in European Patent 0 662 816, which contains cationic, amphoteric and nonionic polymers, alkyl polyglycosides and fatty alcohols and is intended to be used for cleaning and grooming human hair. Typical cosmetic products are also from Chem. Abstr. 119-55722t, or are described in EP-A 0 728 460, EP-A 0 719 539, EP-A 0 705 593, EP-A 0 641 557, US Patent 5,118,507 and US Patent 5,250,289. In these and in other cases, care and carrier substances are present together as a mixture. However, such cosmetic care products are not suitable for achieving the object on which the present invention is based.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a cosmetic care product which does not have the disadvantages of the prior art and which meets the requirement of individual care adapted to the respective skin and / or hair quality and to the respective skin and / or hair type.

The object was achieved by providing a cosmetic care product as claimed in claim 1, which is in the form of a two-component product, the first component comprising at least one care product and the second component comprising essentially non-caring conventional cosmetic carriers, and wherein the first and second Components are separated as preliminary products until use and are only mixed in the ready-to-use end product.

What applies to the need for individual hair care also applies to the skin, since a hair care product, when used appropriately, necessarily comes into contact with the skin of the head. Accordingly, it is clear to the person skilled in the art that the cosmetic care product according to the invention can generally be used advantageously in cosmetic care, it being immaterial whether the care relates to the skin or the appendages (hair).

With the care product according to the invention, hair care and / or skin care can therefore be advantageously adapted to the different needs which result from different hair and skin quality and an individual hair and skin type. With the care product according to the invention, a care effect can thus be set individually, that is to say tailor-made, by metered use of agents with a hair and / or skin care effect with one and the same product. The inventive separation of care substances and carriers and the addition of the care product contained in the first component to the ready-to-use end product only immediately before the intended use achieves a gentle care effect on skin and appendages (scalp or whiskers). Of course, this can also be gentle on the scalp or facial skin if the care product according to the invention is used as a hair care product.

When the agent according to the invention is used as a hair care product, the combability, the feel, the elasticity, the shine and the volume of the hair are improved with a significantly reduced load on the hair, the two-component application according to the invention having the particular advantage that the variability of the amounts of the individual components, the hair treatment can be matched to specific, individual hair qualities or special hair damage. For example, less badly damaged hair requires a lower dosage of the care substances than more badly damaged hair. This can also reduce raw material consumption.

An additional advantage of the cosmetic care product according to the invention is its chemical and / or physical stability with regard to both usable material composition as well as the usable concentrations of the compositions of the first and second components. Examples of this would be the stability of the pH or of emulsions both during storage and during use of the ready-to-use product. Conventional presentations suffer from the disadvantages that compositions and concentrations of auxiliaries, carriers and care agents as a mixture often exhibit chemical and / or physical instabilities.

The cosmetic care product according to the invention can therefore advantageously be used to care for the hair and skin, so that the intended use of the care product according to the invention is also included in the present invention.

According to the invention, cosmetic carriers or base materials are understood to mean all substances, compounds or mixtures known to the person skilled in the art which themselves have no or no significant cosmetic care effects.

In principle, the person skilled in the art knows which carriers and basic substances and which care substances are used in hair and skin cosmetics, so that the further explanations are only exemplary and are only intended to illustrate the present invention.

According to the invention, preference is given to a cosmetic two-component care product, in particular a meterable two-component care product which is present as a hair care product. Concerning the first component, which according to the invention is supposed to develop the actual care effect, this contains one or more care products of various compound and substance classes known in cosmetics. This includes in particular anionic, cationic, amphoteric or nonionic surfactants and / or polymers, oils, fats and / or waxes or derivatives (for example alcohols, esters, silicone compounds) thereof.

The care substances can be present individually or as a mixture. For example, as mixtures of different cationic surfactants or as mixtures of different cationic polymers or as a surfactant and polymer mixture, or as mixtures of oils, fats, waxes and derivatives thereof, or as mixtures of two or more of these substances.

Of the care products of the first component, cationic care products are preferred, especially if they comprise surfactants and polymers.

Suitable cationic surfactants and polymers include fatty amines, quaternary ammonium compounds, quaternary compounds of pyridine, morpholine or imidazoline, or a mixture thereof, and also cationic copolymers, cationic mixed polymers, cationic polysaccharides, cationic cellulose derivatives, cationic or cationized hydrolyzed proteins such as collagen or Keratin, or a mixture thereof.

The second component with an essentially non-caring effect can consist of cosmetic bases or auxiliaries and carriers, as are usually used in cosmetic products. The second component accordingly comprises at least one agent that can be used for cosmetic purposes and has emulsifying or self-emulsifying and / or consistency properties. All low-viscosity aqueous and alcoholic, greasy, oily, waxy, polymeric, viscous carriers are suitable for this. For hair care in particular, it can be advantageous if the second component contains at least one agent with emulsifying or self-emulsifying, consistency-imparting properties. The monoalcohols or a mixture thereof can be present in an amount between 0.1 to 20.0 percent by weight, preferably in an amount between 0.5 and 10.0 percent by weight.

Suitable consistency agents and thickeners can be agar agar, guar gum, alginates and xanthan gum or esters of ethoxylated polyols and fatty acids such as polyglyceryl (2) polyoxyethylene (4) stearate.
