Abstract

Verfahren zur Prüfung der Mietberechtigung eines Kraftfahrzeuges unter Ausnutzung einer Datenverbindung von einem vom Mieter zu bedienenden Automaten zu einer Zentrale eines Vermietungsunternehmens, wobei der Prüfvorgang durch Einlesen einer in den Automaten eingegebenen Automatenkarte initiiert wird und wobei die Prüfschrittfolge unter wahlweiser Ausnutzung technischer Prüfeinrichtungen am Automaten abhängig von kundenspezifischen Dateneinträgen auf der Automatenkarte und/oder hierdurch identifizierten Dateneinträgen in einer Datenbank der Zentrale sowie abhängig vom erfaßten Bedienverhalten des Kunden am Automaten vorgegeben werden.
