Würde man also einen
The use of high-performance incandescent lamps in projection technology has to do with this
led to use more and more lighting mirrors instead of lens condensers,
both for diascopic and episcopic projection. Due to the greater use of the lamp luminous flux
but at the same time an increased heating of the illuminated object is brought about,
and since in most cases these are not only undesirable, but even dangerous
is, you have heat filters, especially cuvettes with liquid filling, in the
Beam path switched on. To avoid certain inconveniences caused by this
avoid is z. B. has been proposed to design the concave mirror itself as a Kühlkiivette.
For this purpose one has the exit opening of the mirror with a transparent one
Wall closed, and cooling liquids are allowed in the hollow body thus formed
circulate. The light source is located outside this hollow body in front of the end wall. Such training
of the mirror can be used with success if an arc lamp is used as the light source.
It is known that this type of lighting enables the emitted light
essentially in a certain direction, in the present case in accordance with the
Mirror, throw. This makes it possible to use the vast majority of the light
Lighting · to make the object usable. However, things are different if
an incandescent lamp is used as the light source. The filament of such a lamp shines
as is well known, their light emits almost evenly in all directions. So one would
choose such a concave mirror designed as a cooling cuvette and the incandescent lamp outside
place it in front of the opening, then only a small part of the luminous flux would be
of the lamp hit the concave mirror and made usable for illuminating the object
will.
The invention therefore proposes that the incandescent lamp be inside the hollow cuvette body
to arrange, which at the same time has the advantage that the incandescent lamp, which is in the
generally has a high wattage, cooled by the surrounding liquid
will.
For this purpose, you give the mirror cuvette at the top of the mirror z. B. a ■ transparent indentation into which the incandescent lamp is inserted. Such an embodiment is shown in Fig. 1, wherein the mirrored Küveütenwand is designated with a, the transparent end wall with b and the indentation with c ; d and e are the inlet and outlet connections for the cooling liquid. The disadvantage of this arrangement, however, is that a relatively large part of the mirror surface is lost through the indentation. This deficiency can be substantially reduced if the indentation is completely omitted and the incandescent lamp is immersed directly into the coolant through a hole in the concave mirror, as shown in Fig. 2. This makes it possible to give the incandescent lamp bulb a significantly smaller diameter, because cooling the bulb enables the distance between the glass wall and the incandescent filament to be reduced. In this embodiment, the inflow and outflow nozzles d and e for the cooling liquid can be arranged on the part of the mirror designed as a neck, whereby the space of the mirror surface occupied by these nozzles in the arrangement according to Fig. 1 is made usable.
It should also be mentioned that the reflective surface of the above-described
Lighting device both from a smooth mirror and from one
Polygonal mirror can be formed.
