nimmt ttii"l ohne Stauchung umbiegt,@len

treffen.
Bei dieser Einrichtung wird bezweckt,
N ägel verschiejener Menge, Deren Spitzen zu
verschiedenen Zeiten aus dein Holze aus-
treten, mit #lemsel:ben Arbeitsschlitten ord-
iniii-Sinaßig Umzubiegen.
Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist
eine 1>eson-lere A:i.sliildii-ngsweise des zum
Umbiegen der Nägel dienenden, finit Rillen
versehenen Schlittens.
in @ler Bewegungsrichtung schwach geneigt
Device for bending the nail tips on nailing machines It has already been suggested to

The aim of this facility is

is achieved that when passing through a
\ Tagelspitze through the wood this on the
inclined contact surface of the transverse to the groove
l @ iii, #, - srichtiirnä strikes a moving slide and thus experiences a more even bending, regardless of the speed of movement of the slide, than is otherwise possible with grooves with vertical groove flanks. It should also be pointed out that the trouble-free: double bending (rolling) of a nail tip is still possible even when the carriage is stationary, i.e. not yet executing its own movement, because on the one hand, under the pressure of the urinary system acting on the nail head, On the other hand, due to the small angle of inclination of the inclined groove flank, the nail tip emerging from the wood must be gradually deflected. This effect is comparable in finite to that which occurs when a nail is hammered in by hand in an inclined direction with a counter pressure plate (steel plate) placed underneath. Furthermore, the grooving according to the invention has the advantage that nails of different lengths can be used simultaneously or one after the other, without this interfering with the proper rolling of the nail tip by means of the carriage grooved according to the invention. The formation -1.er grooving of the carriage according to the present invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawing in cross section, specifically in relation to the various positions of the nail in relation to the carriage and the wood when it is being driven in.
