Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an optical magnification device for precision mechanical and medical, especially dental and surgery applications.
Such devices are based on manually difficult applications known small objects. For example, when soldering electronic circuits a lamp with an integrated magnifying glass used.
Also known is the watchmaker's loupe, which is directly in the eye is jammed and an enlarged view of the object to be processed project.
Dentists use a kind of telescope, which is put on if necessary and provides the doctor with an enlarged picture of the targeted tooth.
A disadvantage common to these devices is that the direct View of the object is lost.
The invention has for its object an optical magnification tion device of the type mentioned in the preamble with particularly good magnification properties a di rect and an enlarged view of the object to be processed finished.
This task is carried out according to the characteristic features of the An sayings 1 and 2 solved. Advantageous further developments are in the ab pending claims specified.
According to the basic idea of the invention, a video camera is opened the object to be examined or processed, whereby the image captured by the video camera from a display or Screen is played. This display is by means of a Ge stell or a holder so in the area of the head, more precisely in the un teren area of the field of view arranged that a direct view is possible on the display. In the upper area of the visual field is a direct view of the object is possible. So by lifting or Lower the gaze of users of this device to either focus on the enlarged display image or on the direct view or perceive both views at the same time.
A second possibility is that of the display to reflect the given image into the eye via a reflective surface. The display and reflective surface are in accordance with the reflections placed so that the angle between the imaginary line from the eye to the reflecting surface and the perpendicular to the surface reflecting surface the angle between the imaginary line from Display of the reflecting surface and the vertical of the surface reflecting surface. The be vertical here the drawn line is in the more general case an arbitrarily shaped one Understand mirror as an optical axis.
In a preferred development, the video camera is fixed to the Holder connected and follows in their direction of view Head movements of the user. The user always receives a normal view and an enlarged view of the targeted Object. The arrangement of the camera pa is particularly favorable here parallel and as close as possible to the normal line of sight, since then the Maximum agreement between the clicked and enlarged object is. By tilting and moving the head, the view changes in the display and the user can directly through the visual control optimize his head posture in the display so that the video camera is aimed directly at the desired goal.
In another embodiment, the video camera is stationary connected to the bracket on the head, but is rotatable there device. This makes it possible to readjust if Art the head position is given to the work and therefore the alignment by turning the head is not possible. In addition, the rotatable bearing can be connected to a motor be controlled by a kind of joystick.
The video camera used is advantageously a miniature camera with dimensions of a few centimeters. The camera can nem magnifying lens, depending on the desired magnification can also be replaced. Of Another is an electronic, especially digital, enlargement the image through the electronics of the camera, the display or an additional circuit provided.
Conveniently, the area perceived by the eye is that Display or the reflecting surface curved like a concave mirror. These Curvature can be one-dimensional, but is preferably two-dimensional mensional. This gives the user the impression of an image, that is a certain distance from the eye. Depending on the curvature of the Area, this distance can be between 20 cm and 5 m. In the As a rule, the curvature will be designed so that the object is in a Distance of 1 to 2 m appears. In a preferred embodiment form, the surface perceived by the user is spherical Concave mirror.
The bracket or frame that holds the individual elements is preferably designed like glasses. The bracket can both via ear hooks as well as an elastic head covering Tape. To correct visual errors of the user there are the possibility of providing the holder with a spacer, of wearing normal glasses below the invention Device allowed. On the other hand, of course, there is integration of ground glasses to correct vision defects in the holder possible.
In another embodiment, the camera can also be external be driven. This is especially true in medical applications of great advantage. The attending doctor receives next to the direct second view of the body to be treated perteil. The camera can be arranged in an endoscope, for example be net, so that the device according to the invention the doctor early look at the abdominal wall and into the device recorded image of the endoscope camera conveyed. In another way the video camera can be inserted into the mouth th rod-shaped device to be mounted to give the dentist a Enlarged representation of the tooth or tooth nerve from another Deliver perspective. This increases the possibilities of the User essential. This is especially the case in the medical field increased safety of treatment.
The combination of the glasses mounted on the bracket with one external glasses bring further advantages. So the user can use a switch a switch from the head camera to the external Make camera and thus immediately without losing the direct View get another view of the object. Here is the ver Using a foot switch is particularly cheap, as this means the hands remain free for further processing or treatment.
Im einzelnen zeigen die schematischen Darstellungen in:The invention is explained in more detail below with the aid of a drawing tert. In detail, the schematic representations show in:

Fig. 4 ein Blockdiagramm der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung. Fig. 4 is a block diagram of the device according to the invention.
In Fig. 1, a holder 1 is shown, which receives a display 2 , which is seen directly by the eye. The bracket 1 is connected to bracket 11 , the ends of which are bent in order to be brought into engagement with the ears. The display 2 is positioned in front of the so-called guide eye. As a rule, everyone always looks at objects with the same eye. The brain processes the image information of the other eye into an overall spatial impression. Depending on whether the user is right- or left-sighted, the display 2 must therefore be arranged in front of the right or left eye. The camera 3 is mounted as close as possible to the sighting eye parallel to the viewing direction in order to achieve a representation that corresponds to that of the leading eye. Turning and tilting the head changes the picture. Through the simultaneous direct view and the view of the display 2 , which is also referred to as a monitor, the object to be treated is securely fixed. In the eyeglass-like holder 1 , if necessary, ground glasses 5 are integrated, so that any existing visual defects can be compensated for and direct vision can also be achieved with optimal visual acuity. The glasses 5 , also called diopter glasses, must be adapted to the respective user. The video camera 3 is equipped with a magnifying lens 10 . Such a lens is interchangeable and can be selected with a magnification factor required for the respective application. The video camera 3 is in data connection with the display 2 via an electrical connection.
A second embodiment is shown in FIG. 2. The image emitted by the display 2 is projected onto the eye via a concave mirror 4 . The use of the concave mirror 4 facilitates attachment since the heavy display 2 can be moved upwards onto the holder 1 . On the other hand, it is achieved that the user perceives a somewhat distant virtual image, which creates greater visual comfort with increased perception. The display 2 is integrated in the reinforced cross strut 6 of the holder 1 and aligned with the image surface essentially vertically downward. The video camera 3 is connected to a cable integrated in the holder 1 . The magnifying optics 10 can be a commercially available objective with a cylindrical exterior. The second camera 7 , which in this case is in data connection with the display 2 via radio or remote control, can, for. B. in an endoscope for abdominal surgery or in a device for interoral examination. In some applications, only the use of the external video camera 7 is necessary, it then being possible to dispense with a video camera 3 connected to the holder 1 .
The detail view shown in FIG. 3 shows the holder 1 with a rotatably mounted video camera 3 . The video camera 3 with the magnifying optics 10 , the lens, is spaced apart from the bracket 11 , which represents the continuation of the holder 1 reaching around the head, as centrally as possible above the eye. The Videoka mera 3 is mounted in the pivot bearing 15 and can be locked by a lever 16 . When using a ball bearing, the video camera 3 can be adjusted in all directions. As an alternative to manual adjustment, the video camera 3 can also be adjusted by a motor 17 arranged on the pivot bearing 15 . The motor 17 can be brought into a new position by a control device 18 , which is constructed similarly to a joystick and is in data connection 19 with the motor 17 . The data connection is shown as a dashed line and can consist of an electrical connection or a radio connection.
Die einzelnen Elemente der Vorrichtung stehen in Datenverbindung 19.The block diagram in FIG. 4 shows the interconnection of the embodiment of FIG. 2. A controller 8 , in which a digital post-processing for magnification, brightness and contrast control is also carried out, receives the data from the video camera 3 . The control 8 can also be structurally integrated into the video camera 3 , the reinforced cross strut 6 or the display 2 . The data prepared in this way are passed on to the display 2 . The controller 8 also receives the data from the second video camera 7 and can also give this to the display 2 . A switch 9 , which is preferably designed as a foot switch, switches the video cameras with the various settings to the display 2 . The individual elements of the device are in data connection 19 .
