Abstract

A new cosmetic tonic, formed from biologically active substances based on aminoacids, for use with an oil mixt. to renew the skin of the face, also causes rosacea to vanish. Dissociation and salt formation of the aminoacids occurs, e.g. of proline, giving co-factors which are active against rosacea and which restore the acid/basic equilibrium of the skin. The tonic is applied at night, 3x at intervals of 2-4 mins., followed by wiping off with cold water and drying of the skin. This is followed by appln. of the oil mixt.. The oil mixt. is applied again the next morning, and at midday if necessary. Use of soap must be avoided.
