Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a lighting device with a Device having a light source with at least one Spotlights and at least one optical fiber that holds the light feeds the light source to the spotlight.
Lighting devices of this type are known (DE-OS 21 14 962). The device with the light source forms the light of the Light source via a converging lens to several from Lichtwellenlei tern existing light guide bundles, the light into one Spotlight (light head) lead directly in front of a small one object to be illuminated, for example a piece of jewelry is arranged. The radiated power of these radiators is low, so that they can be used in living areas, offices and businesses instead of the usual lighting (light bulbs, neon lights, etc.) not possible.
Another major disadvantage is that the Solid angle at which the light is emitted, for practical Purposes, for example as indoor lighting for rooms, too small is, so that for this reason already known spotlights only for illuminating or illuminating small objects, such as Example of the above jewelry can be used can.
It is also known (DE-AS 22 33 257), made of optical fibers separate existing bundles in their light-emitting area to fan out, so that a small number at times Spotlight lights up. Their radiated intensity is however so weak that they are only used as show pieces in apartments can be used.
The invention has for its object the aforementioned Training lighting device so that they generally instead the usual lighting devices that light with incandescent lamps, Dispense neon tubes, etc., can be used.
This object is achieved in that the Light source is at least one laser, the emitter from at least a castable material, at least one embedded has th optical fiber shaft section, at least in the light tread area of the optical waveguide section for the waves length range of light from the light source is translucent and in the light entry area of the optical waveguide section the optical fiber (s) is coupled.
The use of lasers according to the invention ensures that a high light output in the or optical waveguide and Optical fiber sections can be coupled. In principle, it is enough already one laser, but several lasers are used, then the transmitted power is increased considerably.
Several lasers are used, which are in different spectra tral areas, so by mixing different Share the daily profile of natural light be so that for people in artificial light in shielded rooms must work, the lighting corresponds according to the changing light conditions during a Daily routine can be controlled.
By embedding the optical waveguide section or Optical fiber sections in a castable plastic achieved that the geometric arrangement can be determined, esp in particular the solid angle at which the spotlight emits the light len should.
For example, the radiation can be set so that it stripes along a wall.
This is for example for escape routes in buildings, such as Example hotels, cinemas and the like compared to the usual Pictograms and emergency lights are of considerable advantage.
The particular advantage of the measures according to the invention is in that, for example, the entire previous electrical Installation in buildings using fiber optic cables and the invent The inventive spotlight can be replaced by the main Connection in a building with an inventive device connected to the laser or lasers, from which then Lichtwel lenleiter to the invention, installed in the rooms Lead spotlights.
A particular advantage is that the invention Device for illuminating or illuminating rooms with explosive atmosphere, such as storage tanks, trash store, from wet rooms and in the underwater area, such as Example of underwater lighting for swimming pools etc. can be used.
In principle, the or the optical waveguide sections in a clear plastic, such as acrylic, be poured in. However, it is sufficient that the translucent Material only for the light exit area of the light waveguide Sub-sections is used, and the rest of the radiator for example made of colored polyurethane with colored pigments consists.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the light is off tread area of the optical waveguide section or Lichtwel Len conductor sections spaced from the outer contour of the radiator in the Material, i.e. in the translucent section of the spotlight embedded.
These measures ensure that the lights out tread surface of the optical waveguide section or the light waves Fan sections emerging rays so that the light at a larger solid angle from the invention Spotlight occurs in comparison to a spotlight in which the Optical waveguide section or the optical waveguide sections flow into the outer contour with their light-emitting surfaces. According to the invention, the arrangement of the optical fibers can cuts and their distance from the contour of the spotlight so tight be placed in such a way that the emitter has a homogeneously radiating surface having.
In a still further embodiment of the invention, the Light entry area of the optical waveguide section in a Coupling part of the spotlight integrated, the light exit area of the optical fiber in a second coupling part is integrated and formed from both coupling parts Coupling has a converging lens that the light of the Lichtwel lenleiters on the light entry area of the optical waveguide sectional images.
The coupling can be detachable, the two Coupling parts in the manner of a bayonet lock with each other be locked.
The two coupling parts can also be made after the Coupling form a structural unit and glued or be welded. Through the converging lens in the separating surface che the coupling intensity losses largely avoided.
According to a preferred embodiment, the collection is made lens from two plano-convexes separated in their central plane Lenses, each with a plano-convex lens in a coupling part is integrated.
Through these measures, in the case of the releasable clutch achieved that the coupling parts are always flat with minimal Losses of intensity come to mutual investment.
This is particularly advantageous if the spotlights are interchangeable should be, i.e., the couplings are detachable.
In yet another embodiment of the invention, each are three optical fiber sections for the spectral ranges blue, green and red combined into a bundle.
This measure ensures that, depending on the application Spotlight emits white light, or only blue, green or only red or a mixed color of two of these colors or a mixture of these three colors with different Intensity shares, depending on the controlled intensity of the laser in the individual spectral ranges.
Licht wellenleiterabschnitten aufweist. In yet another embodiment of the invention, the Emitter multiple fiber optic sections or multiple bundles of optical fiber sections, the device with the light source or the optical waveguide or the radiator Devices for hiding optical fibers or light has waveguide sections.
Depending on the geometry of the hidden optical fibers section or the optical fiber sections are pictograms, such as directional arrows in white, green or red emitted.
In yet another embodiment of the invention, the Spotlight an aperture for radiating a pictogram or Information on.
In principle, the spotlight can have a geometrical shape a light bulb, a fluorescent lamp, etc., because it is out a castable material that takes on any geometric shape can exist.
According to a preferred embodiment, the radiators and his coupling part as a unit to a tile or tile shed. The other coupling part is then, for example, in a ceiling or wall.
According to a further preferred exemplary embodiment, the Spotlights the stem of a drinking vessel, the foot of the drinking vessel that forms a coupling part and the footprint (table, Counter) the other coupling part.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the Devices according to the invention as markings for or in Swimming pools and still as visual signaling devices in streets traffic lights used for road users.
In a still further embodiment of the invention Spotlights in the shower heads of showers or hand showers integrated or designed as shower heads, so that a shower de person is to a certain extent enveloped by a light curtain.
The measures according to the invention achieve that in general also in wet rooms, such as in shower cubicles through the Device according to the invention lighting without complex Protective insulation is created.
For the purposes of the invention, integrated is understood to mean that a The inventive radiator is dimensioned so that it without can be installed in a shower head without the released inflow of water is essentially affected.
Training as a shower head in the sense of the invention is too understand that the radiator has additional holes through the water released after the inflow like a shower can leak.
In a still further embodiment of the invention, the device according to the invention instead of the usual underwater lighting fountains, fountains and the like for Use, so that here too the usual electrical Protective devices are omitted.
