Claims (4)

1. Meßumformer, der zur Versorgung mit der zum Betrieb erforderlichen Energie und zur Übertragung eines einen Meßwert darstellenden Stromsignals (I) an zumindest eine Zweidrahtleitung (2) anschließbar ist, wobei Diagnosemittel (10, 12, 13, 20) vorgesehen sind zur Feststellung, ob der Meßumformer (1) gut arbeitet, ausgefallen ist oder einer Wartung bedarf, und wobei Mittel (9, 10, Rs, T) vorgesehen sind, um im "Gut"-Zustand ein den Meßwert darstellendes Stromsignal, bei Ausfall statisch ein von einem Meßwert unterscheidbares Stromsignal und bei Wartungsbedarf derart kurzzeitig ein von einem Meßwert unterscheidbares Stromsignal auszugeben, daß es von dem statischen Stromsignal, das bei Ausfall ausgegeben wird, unterscheidbar ist.1.
