Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft Nachrichtendienst Interoperabilitätsverfahren. Ein Client implementiert eine Nachrichtendienst-Version (X.Y), bei der X eine Hauptversionsnummer und Y eine Unterversionsnumme ist. Der Client sendet eine PDU (Protocol Data Unit) mit der Version (X.Y) an den Server. Falls die PDU mit der Version (X.Y) nicht durch den Server akzeptiert wird, wählt der Client erneut eine Nachrichtendienst-Version (Z.H) und sendet eine PDU mit der erneut ausgewählten Version (Z.H) an den Server. Die erneute Auswahl der Nachrichtendienst-Version und das Senden der PDU mit der erneut ausgewählten Version werden solange durchgeführt, bis die PDU durch den Server akzeptiert wird oder alle möglichen erneut auswählbaren Versionen bereits ausgewählt wurden.
