Mittels der zweiten Linse L2 werden die mechanischen Schwingungen weiter gebündelt, um einen flachen Einstrahlwinkel auf die zu behandelnde Haut zu erhalten, wodurch die Wellen nach dem unter der Haut liegenden Brennpunkt (Behandlungspunkt) stärker divergieren, und sich hierdurch vorteilhafterweise die Leistungsdichte in dem tiefer liegenden Gewebe mit zunehmender Tiefe sehr stark verringert, wobei sich hiermit auch eventuell negative Einflüsse stark verringern (siehe auch Fig. 3).
