本发明涉及旨在用于电气装置、如剩余电流检测装置,电流表或功率计的电流传感器。
本发明的目的是提供一种经济形式的电流传感器。
根据本发明提供了一种电流传感器,它包括:设有两个端部导电材料部分及一个与这些端部部分互连的中间部分的金属连接件,所述中间部分由电阻材料作成:及一个安装在所述连接件上的集成电路模数转换器,所述转换器具有连接到所述两个端部部分中相应一个的模拟量输入端子及用于连接到处理装置的数字量输出端子。
通常,转换器通过电绝缘粘接材料层被附着在中间部分上,及转换器的模拟量输入端子通过丝焊被连接到端部部分上。
该转换器最好包括一个Δ-∑(delta-sigma)调制器,该调制器提供高频1位(bit)数字数据。在该转换器中可包括一个或多个十抽一(decimation)滤波级。
该转换器可具有电压参考端子,用于与参考电压源连接,该转换器被操作以分别提供代表流过所述中间部分的电流的数字输出信号及代表一个所述端部部分上的电压的数字输出信号。

图1至3中所示的检测器包括一个刚性复合材料导体条,该导体条具有铜作的两个端部部分13及电阻材料如锰铜作的中间部分14。该导体条通过切割一夹心片来构成,该夹心片通过电子束焊接将铜片焊到锰铜片两相反侧而形成。由该方法制造的电阻部分14构成的分流器可具有0.2mΩ的标称电阻及容差小于5%。夹心片中相邻片的电阻差值可小至2%。
一个信号预处理器ASIC15借助一个电绝缘粘接层16被安装在锰铜部分14上。引线17将ASIC的两个模拟量输入端子各连接到一个铜端部部分13上。ASIC上的另外引线将端子连接到引线架的导体18上,图中示出它们中的一部分。如图3中所示,ASIC、锰铜部分、引线及引线架导体全部被封装在用于保护它们的电绝缘封装材料的包块19中。铜端部部分13的两对立端部从封装块19中伸出。
现在参照图4,将可看到由单个Δ-∑(delta-sigma)调制器20组成的ASIC15内的主电路方框。还具有一个模拟量输入电路,该输入电路具有连接到铜端部部分13的输入端子。在此情况下,ASIC15的输出由高频1位(bit)数字数据信号链组成。使用时ASIC输出端通过变压器或另外的隔离元件22被连接到处理器23。在该方案中处理器被设计成执行一个或多个十抽一(decimation)滤波操作,以将1位(bit)数字信号流转换为低频的多位(bit)数字值。
处理器23可被典型地设计成:接收来自多个检测器的信号及对这些信号求和以确定流过这些检测器的电流是否平衡。这种方案可用于剩余电流校正,当发现存在不平衡状态时能使致动器让开关跳闸。
处理器23可变型地或附加地将瞬时电流值与跳闸电流值相比较,以便能控制过电流跳闸。
在图5所示的变型所示链中,ASIC较复杂并包括一个或多个十抽一滤波级24及一个串行输出驱动器25,以将由滤波级24产生的多位(bit)数字信号的数字(bits)串行地输送到处理器。通过该方案,该处理器的构型可被简化,以使十抽一滤波操作的一部分或全部可在ASIC中进行。
在图6所示的方案中,ASIC具有另一模拟量输入端,它可被连接到一个参考电压源。设有两个模拟量输入级21a及21b而且它们将信号输入到两个独立的Δ-∑(delta-sigma)调制器20a,20b。如图所示,设有两个独立的十抽一滤波级22a,22b,用于两个1位(bit)数字信号流。如图所示,级22a,22b的输出可被连接到一个公共的串行输出级,或可设置(未示出的)分开的串行输出级。
可以理解,图6的方案可通过省略两个滤波级22a,22b而被修改,其中所有的滤波将由处理器来执行。
当处理器监测了电压及电流,就可以获得分流器的精确标定。这允许在RCD应用中更精确地确定电流平衡。此外,如果电压及电流均以高精度被监测,则可获得精确的功率消耗计量。
当本发明的装置被使用在RCD及过电流跳闸系统中时,该处理器可被编程,以识别当负载被接入电路或从电路中切除时发生的瞬变及避免误跳闸。在该处理器中也可编程许多其它便利的功能,通过能被进行的高精度电流测量使这些功能成为可能。

Claims (9)

1.一种电流传感器,包括:设有两个端部导电材料部分及一个与这些端部部分互连的中间部分的刚性金属连接件,所述中间部分由电阻材料作成:及一个安装在所述连接件上的集成电路模数转换器,所述转换器具有连接到所述两个端部部分中相应一个的模拟量输入端子及用于连接到处理装置的数字量输出端子。
2.根据权利要求1的电流传感器,其特征在于,该转换器通过电绝缘粘接材料层被附着在连接件上。
3.根据权利要求2的电流传感器,其特征在于,该转换器被附着在中间部分上。
4.根据权利要求3的电流传感器,其特征在于,该转换器的模拟量输入端子通过丝焊被连接到端部部分上。
5.根据以上权利要求中任一项的电流传感器,其特征在于,该转换器具有电压参考端子,用于与参考电压源连接,及所述转换器被操作以提供代表流过所述中间部分的电流的数字输出信号及代表一个所述端部部分上的电压的数字输出信号。
6.根据以上权利要求中任一项的电流传感器,其特征在于,所述转换器包括一个Δ-∑(delta-sigma)调制器,该调制器提供高频1位(bit)数字数据。
7.根据权利要求6的电流传感器,其特征在于,所述转换器还包括至少一个十抽一(decimation)滤波级。
8.一种电流测量装置,包括:上述权利要求中任一所述的至少一个电流传感器;及一个与其相连接的处理电路,以接收并处理来自所述电流传感器的数字信号。
9.根据权利要求8的电流测量装置,其特征在于,处理电路被设计成:基于所接收的数字信号执行一个或多个十抽一滤波操作。
