Abstract

Description
本发明一般涉及荧光灯,尤其是涉及其构型如A字形白炽灯的小型无电极荧光灯。
具有灯泡和内置镇流器的这类小型荧光灯产品,与光输出等效的白炽灯相比,较为节能并具有较长的使用寿命。一般的小型荧光灯具有管状外壳,并具有一个或多个通常为U型的弯头。灯泡中弯头的数量是该灯的期望光输出和尺寸的函数。小型荧光灯可以使用电极也可无电极。灯与电磁或电子镇流器连接,后者较好,因为电子镇流器更小。一般的小型荧光灯系列中,灯泡与镇流器的界面是最宽的物理尺寸。
小型荧光灯和镇流器的总长超过等效白炽灯的总长。白炽灯最普通的构型称为A字型。一般的A字型灯泡尺寸有三种,即A19、A21和A23,该数字对应于灯泡的最大直径为八分之几英寸。例如,A21灯泡是最大直径为八分之二十一、或
英寸。这种A字型白炽灯的功率输出一般在25~250瓦的范围。不利的是,耗能较小并具有较长使用寿命的目前市售小型荧光灯不能用于白炽灯灯具。
因此,期望提供能在白炽灯灯具工作的小型荧光灯。
根据本发明的小型无电极荧光灯具有A字形构型,包括球状上部,朝向下部变窄,并终止于窄端。外壳上形成有凹腔,在凹腔内没有励磁线圈,当由交流电源激励时提供交变磁场,引起发射紫外线辐射的电弧放电。外壳具有荧光内涂层,用于在由紫外线辐射激励时发射可见光辐射。A字形外壳的窄端与灯座(如爱迪生螺旋灯座)连接。交流电源经过灯座借助镇流器与励磁线圈电连接。镇流器与灯泡成为一体,并至少部分地包含于凹腔内。

图1展示了包括气密外壳12的一般小型荧光灯10,外壳具有由透明材料制成的多个U型管状部分。外壳含有包括汞和至少一种惰性气体在内的填充物。外壳与灯座结构连接,灯座结构包括用于镇流器的护罩14和灯座16,例如爱迪生螺旋灯座,用于经过灯具(未示出)与交流电源的连接。仅作为示例方式,图1的放电管展示出具有两个U型管状部分,每个U型管状部分具有插入镇流器的两端。在放电管内表面施加荧光层18,用于把由填充物的激励而产生的紫外线辐射转换成为可见光。
根据本发明,如图2所示,小型无电极荧光灯20具有A字形构型,其有利于小型荧光灯用于具有等效光输出的白炽灯所用的一般白炽灯灯具。用于A字形小型荧光灯的外壳球状上部22,朝向下部变窄并终止于窄端24。外壳具有形成于其上的凹腔26,在凹腔内设置有励磁线圈28,用于当由交流电源激励时提供交变磁场,引起发射紫外辐射的电弧放电27。外壳具有荧光内涂层18,用于当由紫外辐射激励时发射可见光辐射。A字形外壳的窄端24连接于灯座16(如爱迪生螺旋灯座)。交流电源经过灯座借助镇流器30与励磁线圈电连接。镇流器与灯泡形成为一体,并至少部分地包含于凹腔内。
图3示意地展示了适合操纵图2的小型无电极荧光灯的镇流器,并能构形成位于凹腔26内。所示镇流器是具有以半桥构形连接在一起的开关器件Q1和Q2的D级功率放大器,开关器件被交替在截止和饱和之间驱动,以使一个导通而另一个截止,反之亦然。连接于每个开关器件的栅的栅极驱动电路分别包括隔离变压器次级绕组T1A和T1B、时标电容器C7和C8、和齐纳二极管对D7-D8和D5-D6,用于保护栅极极免遭高压尖峰。T1C是输入隔离变压器的初级绕组。包括电感器L2和电容器C6的谐振电路在开关器件Q1和Q2之间的结点与半桥连接,并与开关器件Q2并联。启动电路包括双向开关元件VR1和VR2、电阻器R1和R2、和电容器C3;启动电路为灯的启动提供足够高的初始电流。提供电容器C9用于直流阻断。图3的镇流器还包括抗电磁干扰的保护部分,包括电感器L6、L1、L3和电容器C1、C15、C21和C10。输入桥式整流器由方框BR1代表,用于对输入交流电压整流;输入滤波电容器由C2和C5表示。电容器C2和C5最好是电解电容器。
图4和5是展示图3的镇流器在印刷电路板30上的布置实例的侧视图,其中镇流器位于图2的凹腔内。举例的凹腔内径为25mm,根据图3的举例镇流器电路为22mm,因而镇流器易于安装在凹腔内。在图4和5的具体实施例中,电解电容器C2和C5延伸进灯座(图1)。
如图4和5所示,印刷电路板支承励磁线圈28和变压器L2。具体地讲,印刷电路板一端成形为励磁线圈28绕于其上的磁心29。同样,印刷电路板成形为接收电感器L2的磁心31。
根据本发明的灯泡和镇流器的一体构形,即镇流器构形为安放于小型无电极荧光灯的凹腔内,有利于灯泡更小型化,并可使这种灯泡用在具有等效光输出的A字形白炽灯的灯具中。对小型无电极荧光灯的凹腔的这种使用,为小型无电极荧光灯提供灯泡和镇流器的一体化构型,将使这种灯更具吸引力并可有广泛用途,从而使小型荧光灯的优点即经济和长寿命得以普及。
尽管以上展示和说明了本发明的优选实施例,但是提供这些实施例显然仅是举例性的。对于本领域的技术人员来说,在不脱离本发明的条件下可做出许多变型、改变和替换。因此,本发明仅由权利要求书的实质和范围来限定。
Claims (5)
1、小型荧光灯,包括:
含有填充物的气密、透光外壳,当填充物经受交变磁场时维持发射紫外辐射的电弧放电,外壳具有形成于其上的凹腔,励磁线圈位于凹腔内,用于当由交流电源激励时提供交变磁场,外壳具有荧光内涂层,用于当由紫外辐射激励时发射可见光辐照,外壳具有A字形构型,包括球状上部,朝向下端变窄,终止于窄端;
镇流器,用于把交流电源电连接于励磁线圈,从而操纵灯泡,镇流器与灯泡成为一体,至少部分地含在凹腔内;和
与外壳窄端连接的灯座,灯座用于把镇流器连接于交流电源。
2、如权利要求1的灯,其中镇流器包括D级功率放大器。
3、如权利要求1的灯,其中镇流器安置于印刷电路板上。
4、如权利要求3的灯,其中印刷电路板支承励磁线圈绕于其上的磁心。
5、如权利要求3的灯,其中镇流器支承至少一个镇流电感器的磁心。
