Abstract

本发明涉及电池接点和机械啮合装置,具体涉及被定位在该机械啮合装置中的电池接点。
便携式电子产品一般都具有电池组件,该电池组件具有供电接点和充电器接点。电池组件还具有固定到该便携电子产品上的一个装置。按照常规,与便携电子产品相接触的接点和固定到该电子产品的固定装置业已是两个分开和截然不同的机构,具有两个不同目的。对于便携式产品或充电器分别具有单独的供电或电池接点和固定装置(在该电池上)要求附加的部件和工具来制造电池组件。而且,在制造不同容量和尺寸的电池组件时,需要为供电接点和充电器接点进行单独的设计和使用单独的工具。为此,对于便携电子产品具有用于充电或供电的业已分开电池接点和在电池上的单独的电池啮合机构产生了部件、工具的冗余和在制造效率上的降低。换句话说,增加了部件和工具加工过程的数量使电池成本提高了。最后,单独的电池接点和固定机构增加了这些部件的每个部件的磨损、疲劳和腐蚀。

参见图1,一个电池(或其它能源)或电池组件10固定到一个或多个电气产品上。特别是,电池组件10固定到一个通信设备上(如图1中的双向无线电设备30),并且为它提供电池电流以对它供电,无线电设备30包括一个无线电设备壳体32和一个天线42,在该无线电设备壳体的背面14有一个电池接收区34。接收区34还包括一个底部侧壁24,它从壳体32的背面14垂直向外延伸。在电池接收区34内,无线电设备30有可定位的接收区,如位于背面14上的一个腔体66,和位于底部侧壁24以构成一个定位器的一对小孔64,用于以机械方式将电池10联接到无线电设备30上。导体啮合装置如阳性和阴性无线电设备供电接点38和40分别凹入腔体66内,但是通过相应的小孔表示,以形成一个突起接收区或插座。底部小孔64和顶部腔体66用于接收电池10。这些定位器同时具有三个功能:机械地将电池10耦合到无线电设备30上,该电池经过无线电设备接点40和38电气连接到该无线电设备上,以及对于用于第二电气产品(如充电该电池时经过小孔64的一个充电器(未示出))的电池提供可接入性。

参见图2,电池盒16包括一个底面或下侧44和在后面或背面上的一个壳体部分或电池盖22。电池盒16和壳体部分22可以是一个组合的外壳或联接在一起的两个分开的外壳。最好地,为了固定两个分开的部件,如图3所示的,一旦蓄电池单元电池71—76放进去,电池盖22和电池盒16就用超声波方法焊接在一起。
电池盒的电池盒盖22和底侧44包括啮合机构,例如分别用于将电池固定到无线电设备30上的突起或凸台13和36。底部突起36抓住充电接点,例如在电池组件10的底侧44上的阳性和阴性充电器接点18和21以及传感器接点19和20。同样地,在电池组件10的后面或背面上,顶部突起13分别抓住放置在壳体部分或电池盖22的顶部后突起13内的阳性和阴性供电接点28和26。
一对底部突起36的每个突起钩入在无线电设备壳体32的相应端中的每个小孔64,以提供枢轴的支持。类似地,顶部后突起13延伸进入在无线电设备壳体32的相应顶部部分中的腔体66中,以提供适当的对准和在固定期间减少容差的堆积。当电池的低端插入该无线电设备时,由于低突起36由该小孔64啮合,电池组件10钩在一端或在一端枢轴转动。最好是,突起部36不伸出小孔64而是凹陷进入它们之中。然后,在电池盖中的突起13通过向下朝该无线电设备壳体直到突起13,对准到适当位置,被枢轴转动以适当的对准。为此,在相对部分啮合的突起13和腔体66完成了在电池和无线电设备枢轴转动地固定在另一端时开始的对准过程。双枢轴的支持用于更好地平衡对准。但是,根据本发明,只用一个枢轴支持实现本发明是可能的。
突起36和13最好带有圆柱形导电接点。这些接点受力装配到电池外壳16的模压通孔112和114中,以便整体地形成阳性和阴性充电器接点21和18、充电器检测接点19和20、以及在该外壳中的阳性及阴性电池供电接点28和26。
参见图3,圆柱形接点的一端提供阳性和阴性供电接点表面,以便装配和电气连接到无线电设备供电接点上。在电池盒16内,圆柱形接点18—21的另一端回到一个柔性电路80。为了简化,只示出包括虚线的负路径、连接到一个单元电池或一系列单元电池71—76的正端子84和负端子82以及接到正及负充电器接点(21和18)和电池供电接点(28和26)的柔性电路80。
请注意,隔离的供电接点和隔离的充电器接点不存在,因为它们已组合到突起13和36中,为此为便携产品在这个电池的制造中提供工具和部件的节约。抓住突起13和36的接点起着该电池到一个或多个电气产品的机械啮合装置和电气连接装置的作用。在一种情况下,电子产品是一个便携的双向无线电设备。抓住突起13的接点将该电池机械地啮合到该无线电设备上。并与它对准和电气连接。
在另一种情况下,电气产品是一个充电器。抓住突起36的接点机械地把电池盖22啮合到电池盒16上,并与它对准,还把电池电气连接到该充电器上。该小孔64能通过该电池外壳的定位区44通入电池电子产品。因使用较小的部件,故保持特点与充电器接点的有效综合取得了较小的无线电设备脚印(foot—print)。在该突起内的接点进一步增强和加强突起。通常在电池盒背面上看到的充电器和检测接点18—21这时只在该无线电设备的底部可以看到,以在电池盒的背部产生一个平的静止的外形。再则,因圆柱形接点在电池固定到无线电设备时,它们被塑料的电池盒和塑料无线电设备外壳包围,而受到保护而不致损坏。

Claims (10)

1.一种电池固定到无线电设备上并为它供电,该无线电设备包括:
至少一个单元电池;
一个外壳,内含所述的至少一个单元电池;
啮合装置,位于该外壳上,用于有选择性地固定该电池和该无线电设备,该啮合装置包括一个突起由该无线电设备有选择性地接收;和
至少一个电气接点,位于该突起上。
2.根据权利要求1的电池,其特征在于,该突起包括一个开口,用于接收所述的至少一个电气接点,所述至少一个电气接点包括一对充电接点,用于对所述的至少一个单元电池充电。
3.根据权利要求1的电池,其特征在于,该突起包括一个开口,用于接收所述的至少一个电气接点、,所述至少一个电气接点包括一对供电接点,用于从所述的至少一个单元电池向该无线电设备提供电池电流。
4.根据权利要求1的电池,其特征在于,该电池具有至少两类电气接点,第一类电气接点是充电器接点,用于从充电器充电该电池,而第二类电气接点是电池供电接点,用于从该电池向该无线电设备提供电池电流。
5.根据权利要求1的电池,其特征在于,该突起设置在该外壳的低端,用于枢轴转动地将该电池安装到该无线电设备上,和用于经过位于该突起上的所述至少一个电气接点对该电池充电。
6.一种电池固定到无线电设备上并为它供电,该电池包括:
至少一个单元电池;
一个外壳,内含所述的至少一个单元电池;
啮合装置,位于该外壳上,用于有选择性地该电池固定无线电设备上,该啮合装置包括由无线电设备有选择性地接收的一对突起;和
充电接点,位于至少一个突起上。
7.根据权利要求6的电池,其特征在于,充电接点包括:
一个正充电接点和一个负充电接点,位于那对突起之一上;和
一对检测接点,位于那对突起的另一个上。
8.根据权利要求6的电池,其特征在于,该啮合装置包括由一个闩锁。
9.一种无线电设备,具有一个综合的机械的和电气的连接系统,其特征在于,包括:
一个电池,它具有有一个端子的至少一个单元电池;
一个外壳,内含该电池;
在该外壳上形成的导电突起装置,用于将该电池电气连接到一个充电器上;和
在该无线电设备上的突起接收装置,用于接收该导电突起装置,用于把该电池机械地联接到该无线电设备上,和用于把该电池电气连接到该充电器上。
10.根据权利要求9的无线电设备,其特征在于,在所述外壳上形成的导电突起装置包括连接到该端子的模制成的电路。
