Abstract

发明领域
本发明涉及一种采用反射光束和光源光束来显示的标识装置;具体地说,这种标识装置主要由一台反光镜构成。
背景技术
一种用于交通的利用反光镜的传统标识装置已被提出。如众周知,它通过一个由其垂直角度为直角的三角棱锥构成的反射镜或一个由棱镜构成的反射元件将入射光束朝180°相反方向进行反射。因此,如果将其用作交通标志设置在如路肩那样的道路交界处,它们就会将从汽车头灯发出的光束反射回汽车司机处,这样,汽车司机即能识辨道路边界而安全驾驶。这种反射式标志不同于其它有光源的标志,它不需要电源。但是,反过来说,由于反射式标志是反向接收反射的光束,因此提供识辨的效率有限,尤其是在阴天,周围比较暗而汽车头灯又未打开的情况下更是如此。
另一方面,现已提出采用光源如灯泡、电子闪光灯等的另一种标识装置。这种标识装置是正向发射出光束,因此在改善识辨效率方面很有效,但如从光源发射出的光量很小,则识辨效率同样很小,势必难以达到所要求的性能。反之,如果从光源发出的光量很大,则能耗相应增加,长时间使用就必须采用商业用电作为能源。在后一种情况下,必须把电码连接到标志灯来供电,这样一来,标识装置势必十分笨重。
鉴于前述问题,现已提出同时采用反射光束和光源光束的另一种标识装置。例如,在未实审日本实用新型申请1982第205185号中揭示了将发光二极管之类的发光元件作为光源,并将发光元件发出的光束通过一个光束透射板进行发射。而且在光束透射板周围配置一些反光镜并利用通过反光镜反射的光束实现标识功能。因此,同时采用反射光束和光源光束可以降低发光元件的负荷率,从而减少发光元件的能耗;而另一方面,由于发光元件和反光镜两者的标识功能,采用这种方式的标识装置的识辨效率总的来说有所增强。
但是,由于未实审日本实用新型申请1982年第205185号只是单独同时采用发光元件和反光镜,发光元件和反光镜中的各个元件作为各一个标志独立起作用。也就是说,预计不会达到因两个标志的交互作用而有大的对合效应。尤其是因为发光元件不过是通过光束透射板发射光,虽然光的分布特点可以通过光束透射板上形成的透镜光步加以控制,但光束的聚光性或光束的扩散性不可自由调节,识辨效率的增强是十分有限的。而且,由于反光镜是由透镜的精密光步形成的,如果扩大一个透镜区域来增强识辨效率,则透光步的数目同时增加。因此,透镜及制备透镜用模具装置的生产十分困难。
发明内容
本发明鉴于现有标识装置存在的上述问题,其目的在于提供一种能利用光源光束和反射光束的倍增作用改善标志识辨效率的标识装置。
本发明的另一目的在于提供一种能通过控制光束聚光性和光束扩散性来增强标志的识辨效率、同时降低光源能耗的标识装置。
本发明的又一目的在于提供一种能扩大反光镜区域且易于制作相同透镜的标识装置。
以上目的可以通过下面的技术方案来实现:一种标识装置,包括:一圆柱形壳体,装有向所述光源提供电能的电池;一透镜,安装在所述标识体前开口;一标识体,其中装有所述反光镜;所述标志体可拆卸地与所述壳体连接;所述标识体包括一成形于背面用于沟通所述标识体内部和外部的气孔、一成形于背面用于导光的窗口、一通过O形圈安装在所述导光窗口上的透明罩盖;其特点为,还包括至少一个由具有三个反射面的三角棱锥构成的反光镜,以及一个配置在所述反光镜光学轴线上的光源。
反光镜前面最好有一透镜,该透镜上最好成形有一聚光透镜用于对光源发出的光进行聚光。而且最好以这样一种方式把许多个反光镜连续地装在同一平面,即构成每个反光镜的三个反射面的方向各不相同。另外,反光镜的正面最好是正六角形,而壁面则最好在构成每个反光镜的三个反射面之间形成,以使壁面方向与光学轴线平行。
按照本发明的标识装置,入射光束被一个反光镜朝180°反方向回射;与此同时打开一个光源向前发出光束;这样,从反光镜来的回射光束和从光源发出的光束就会产生一种倍增作用,从而使该标志具有很高的识辨效率。特别是从光源发出的光束可通过反光镜反射,所以,发射很小光度的光源即可照亮很大一个范围。这样也就能减少能耗。而且,由于反光镜是由三个反射表面组成的,与回射透镜即棱镜相比可扩大反射面积,因此反光镜可达到极高的识辨效率。进一步通过把许多个反光镜相互连接并配置在同一平面,则可将回射效果作用到大面积上,进一步改善识辨效率。

较佳实施例的详细描述
如图1至图3所示,标识装置1包括一圆柱壳体2,一可拆卸地配置在壳体2上部的深碟形圆环标识体3,以及一个安装在标识体3前开口的碟形透镜4。壳体2与标识体3通过比如说一个螺丝5相互可拆卸地进行连接,以便在将标识体3从壳体2上卸下时可装入一电池6。在标识体3的背面有一用于沟通标识体3内部与外部的气孔7,在该标识体3的背面还开有一用于将光导至后面要叙述到的一个光学传感器的窗口8。用一透明罩盖9将导光窗口8盖住并通过一O形圈10对窗口8液封。
通过一个螺丝12将一圆形基片11沿标识体3的内底面固定在标识体内侧。基片11的前面装有许多个如发光二极管之类的发光元件13,基片11的背面则装有一个如光电二极管之类的光学传感器14和一个线路部15。发光二极管13配置在一个平面上并与上述反光镜的形状相对应。光学传感器14被安装在基片背面的大致中心位置,对着标识体3中成形的导光窗口8。线路部15装有各种电子装置,用于将放在壳体2中的干电池6、发光二极管13和光学传感器14组成一个电子线路,以便发光二极管13按照光学传感器14的输出状态动作并发出光束。
在圆环形标识体3内基片前方配置有一个反光镜体21。反光镜体21可以被装在基片上或标识体3上。在本实施例中,反光镜体21系被粘贴在基片11上,被牢固地支承在该处。如图4A,反光镜体21的正视图所示,反光镜体21系由树脂材料形成,并对树脂表面进行铝喷镀处理以构成反射表面,这样就将许多个反光镜22连续配置在同一平面上,每个反光镜22均由一具有三个反射面23a、23b和23c的三角棱锥构成,这些反射面在顶点处相互交叉垂直,如图4B所示。在本实施例中,如图4B中双点划线所示,反光镜22的布局是使从前面看为正六角形,形成与反射面23a至23c之间的交界或连接位置处的光学轴线相平行方向的分壁面24。这样,反光镜体21就由被安排成蜂窝状布局的反光镜22构成。
而且,按照上述实施例,各个反光镜22的边缘线的方向均与其它反光镜22的边缘线方向不同,边缘线是在从前面看时交叉120°角的三个反射面确定的。在本实施例中,有些反光镜22具有朝向前面的正六角形顶点的三条边缘线,另一些反光镜则具有朝向垂直于正六角形每条侧面线的三条边缘线。在这种情况下,前一种反光镜的一条边缘线为朝上或朝下,而后一种反光镜的一条边缘线则朝左或朝右。
更具体地说,图5A是表示前一种反光镜22A的立体图,其中一条边缘线朝上,另外两条边缘线朝下,相互倾斜120°。在这种类型的反光镜中,在正六角形开口的上顶点和左右下顶点位置处的三个反射面23a、23b和23c的每个面上形成垂直壁面24。另一方面,图5B则是表示后一种反光镜22B的立体图,其中一条边缘线朝左,另外两条边缘线朝右,相互倾斜120°。在这种类型的反光镜中,在三条边缘线与正六角形开口的线之间交叉位置处的三个反射面23a、23b和23c的每个面上形成垂直壁面24。
每个反光镜22均被削去顶点部分以形成一个三角孔25,反光镜22被安装在基片11上某一位置处,以便每个三角孔25均与配置在基片11上的相应发光二极管13相对应。在反光镜22的外周处整体形成一环状凸缘26,与标识体3的形状相对应。与凸缘26整体相连的是一个从凸缘周边沿标识体3的内周面向后突出延伸的短圆柱形套筒27。
沿标识体3前开口的开口周边形成一密封槽3a,将沿透镜4外周部分形成的一密封脚部分4a插入密封槽3a,以便将透镜4与标识体3整体地装配起来,装配时是通过将密封剂注入密封槽3a内密封标识体3的内部,透镜4系由透明树脂材料制成并与聚光镜31整体构成;聚光镜31由凸透镜构成,系在内表面大致与反光镜22的中心位置即发光二极管13的光学轴线对应位置处。透镜4的整个表面有一透明涂复层。
按照这样配置的标识装置,干电池6、发光二极管13、光学传感器14和线路部15构成了一个在上面说明中未表示的线路。当光学传感器14检测出透过导光窗口8的光而其数量大于一个预定值时,线路部15即告损坏。另一方面,当外部环境变暗而光学传感器14检测出的光量低于预定值时,线路部15接通并通过起能源作用的干电池6的供电使发光二极管工作并发出光束。至于每个发光二极管13发出的光,则最好能设计成连续发射或闪光发射。
如图6所示,当发光二极管13发射光时,大部分光顺沿着光学轴线并通过在透镜4上成形的聚光镜31聚光,形成一条光束。另一方面,从发光二极管13发射的另一些朝向侧面的光则被反光镜22的三个反射面23a、23b和23c的一个反射面反射并透过透镜4。在这种情况下,由于每个反光镜22都带有壁面24和反射面,一部分由发光二极管13发出的光即通过壁面24被反射。由于壁面24没有反光性能,被反射的光是朝向圆周方向,因此从发光二极管13发出的光可以被进一步散射。
所以,从发光二极管13发出的光有一部分是具有很小光束宽度的光束,另一部分则是具有与反光镜22的反射面23a、23b和23c的面积相应的较大光束宽度的光束,此外还有一部分光则通过壁面24朝向圆周方向散射。由于这些光束是同时通过透镜4发出的,使光束宽度小的光束能达到一个长距离射程以改善远距定位的识辨效率,另外的光束则照射透镜4的整个表面在中距离和短距离内增强识辨效率;而这样一种特性可以通过少量的发光二极管实现,与透镜4的面积相比可减少能耗。
通过减少能耗,甚至可以采用干电池6作为能源部使标志长时间工作而不需要利用商业用电的布线向标识装置供电。而且可以把标识装置装入一个手提装置中,从而使标识装置的使用和维修十分方便。例如可以通过将标识装置的圆柱壳体2插入圆筒形支柱S的顶部开口使标识装置便于安装,如图1所示。
而当发光二极管13不发光时,从一辆汽车的头灯来的入射光透过透镜4并通过如图6所示的反光镜22的三个反射面23a、23b和23c经透镜4向后180°反射。照射到围绕反光镜体21的凸缘26上的入射光被以与入射角相等的角度反射并透过透镜4。因为这个缘故,大多数入射光被反射到汽车司机身上。在这种情况下,由于可将反光镜22或反光镜体21设计成与通常的反光棱镜相比具有较大的面积,故可通过一个很大的光束宽度来进行反光以增强识辨效率。
而且,由于构成每个反光镜22的三个反射面23a、23b和23c的角度方向各不相同,可以使反方向回射的方向性在圆周方向相等包括垂直方向和水平方向。也就是说,一般在如图7A所示的反方向回射过程中,一个相对于光学轴线倾斜的入射光可以通过一个反射镜被180°反射回去。但在反光镜沿包括光学轴线的平面被截断的情况下,三个反射面23a、23b和23c并不一定相对光学轴线对称。在如图7A所示的情况下,反射面23a与反射面23b并不对称,也就产生了取决于入射角的非对称的反射强度特性。图7B为表示这种现象的图表。如图所示,当反光镜22沿包括一条边缘线的平面被截断的情况下,反射强度特性为不对称,这取决于相对于光学轴线的非对称的反射面23a和23b所形成的光的入射角。
但是,按照上述本发明的标识装置,由于许多个反光镜22的反射面23a、23b和23c方向各异,当把反光镜体21看作一个整体时,各个反光镜22的反射强度特性的不规则性即被均衡化,从而使不规则性得以补偿。这是因为,即使各个反光镜22都如前所述具有不规则的反射强度特性,各个反光镜22的角度方向却各不相同。因此在标识装置的每个方向能获得相等的反射强度。
在透镜4上成形的聚光镜31可以是如图8A所示的菲涅耳分步透镜32。否则如图8B所示,在反光镜22和透镜4之间配置一内透镜4A,而菲涅耳分步透镜33或聚光镜则可在内透镜4A的一适当部分上形成。在这种情况下,由于菲涅耳分步透镜32或33能够完成聚光作用而毋需增加透镜4或内透镜4A的厚度,因此能生产出薄而重量轻的标识装置。
而且,每个反光镜均可通过一个如图9所示正面为正方形的反光镜22′形成。在这种配置方式中,将许多个反光镜22按矩阵排列,对于如果将标识装置申请作为一种所谓矩阵图来说是非常有效的。同时,可以把反光镜外轮廓包括其背面配置成立方体或直角平行管道式,以便能利用平坦的背面将各个反光镜装到安装板上。
此外,还可以采用两个或多个发光元件作为每个反光镜的光源。例如,可以提供分别发出红、绿、兰色的三个发光二极管13R、13G、13B,如图10所示。发光二极管13R、13G和13B可以有选择地或同时操作发光,以得到各种颜色的标志。在这种情况下,可以将发光二极管13R、13G和13B中的每一个配置成具有互不相同的光学轴线,而且从标识装置发出的光束朝向也互不相同。结果是标识装置的标志颜色按照观察角度而不同。这样就进一步增强了识辨效率。
如上所述,按照本发明,由于反光镜包括一个由配置在一个三角棱锥的三个表面上的三个反射而组成的反光镜和一个配置在反光镜光学轴线上的光源,入射光束通过一个反光镜作反方向回射,同时打开光源向前发出光束,这样,从反光镜来的反向回射光束和从光源发出的光束即产生倍增作用因而实现很高的标志识辨效率。特别是对从光源发出的光束可以通过反光镜加以反射,因此发出小光度的光源可以照亮一个很大的范围。这样也就能减少能耗。而且,由于反光镜是由三个反射面组成,反射面积与回射透镜即棱镜相比可以扩大,因此反光镜可以实现极高的识辨效率。此外,通过把许多个反光镜相互连接地配置在同一平面上,能够把反射回射作用加在一个很大的区域,从而进一步改善识辨效率。
而且,由于透镜是配置在反光镜的前面,而聚光镜是成形在透镜上用于对光源发出的光进行聚光的,可对光源光进行聚光以供发出,因此能增强远距定位的识辨效率。
另外,由于将许多个反光镜相互连接地配置在同一平面上,能在很大的区域得到反向回射作用,从而改善识辨效率。
此外,由于构成每个反光镜的三个反射面的角度方向互不相同,反射回射的方向性在包括垂直方向和水平方向在内的整个周围方向能够均衡化。
还有,由于反光镜从正面看为正六角形而壁面则在构成每个反光镜的三个反射面之间形成,因此壁面的朝向平行于光学轴线,光源光通过壁面在标识装置的圆周方向被反射,故能扩大标志的识辨角度。
Claims (6)
1.一种标识装置,包括:
一圆柱形壳体,装有向所述光源提供电能的电池;
一透镜,安装在所述标识体前开口;
一标识体,其中装有所述反光镜;所述标志体可拆卸地与所述壳体连接;所述标识体包括一成形于背面用于沟通所述标识体内部和外部的气孔、一成形于背面用于导光的窗口、一通过O形圈安装在所述导光窗口上的透明罩盖;
其特征在于,还包括至少一个由具有三个反射面的三角棱锥构成的反光镜,以及一个配置在所述反光镜光学轴线上的光源。
2.如权利要求1所述的标识装置,其特征在于,所述标识体通过一螺纹连接与所述圆柱壳体可拆卸地连接。
3.如权利要求1所述的标识装置,其特征在于,所述装在所述圆柱壳体内的电池为干电池。
4.如权利要求1所述的标识装置,其特征在于,6.如权利要求1所述的标识装置,其特征在于,所述光源包括一个发光二极管。
5.如权利要求1所述的标识装置,其特征在于,还包括一个光学传感器和一个电气连接到所述光学传感器的控制装置,其中,所述光源与所述光学传感器的一个输出信号连动。
6.如权利要求1所述的标识装置,其特征在于,所述反射镜系由树脂形成,其表面并经铝喷镀处理。
