Abstract

Description

用于密封泄漏的装置
本发明涉及泄漏的密封,更具体一些,涉及一种堵漏补钉以及一种将这种补钉用于盛放流体的物体的手工工具,以及使用这种工具和补钉的方法。现有的密封泄漏的工具和方法,如同美国专利3645816所例示的那样,要求在补上补钉以前将漏洞四周的表面区域彻底地弄干净,并且还要将流体从物体中排出,以消除有泄漏的物体中的任何流体压力。还有,施加堵漏补钉所用的工具是用刚性材料做的,它不能变形,以适应漏洞周围的表面区域的形状。这样就使得必须有许多用于施加补钉的工具,每个工具具有与单个的特殊区域或轮廓相适应的形状。
因此,本发明的目的是提供一种改进的用于密封泄漏的敷贴器、补钉和方法。
本发明的另一目的是堵塞盛放流体的物体上的漏洞而不需要将该物体排空或是消除其内部的流体压力。
本发明的再一目的是堵塞浸没在液体中的物体的外表面上的漏洞。
本发明的又一目的是利于使用单一的敷贴器在具有不同尺寸和形状的各种类型的物体上堵塞漏洞。
另一个目的是提供一种能在不同形状和尺寸的物体上用来堵塞漏洞的补钉。
再一个目的是提供一种用于堵漏补钉的敷贴器,它可用于不平直的非水平的表面上,并使补钉不会从敷贴器中掉出来。
还有一个目的是提供一种快速固化的堵漏补钉,它可用于密封有压力的和浸没的漏洞。
还有一个目的是提供一种在不同形状的物体上在条件变化很大的情况下快速地堵塞漏洞的方法。
再一个目的是提供一种比较简单、经济而又耐用的堵漏工具和补钉,以及使用这种工具和补钉的方法,这种方法可以由未经过专门培训或没有专门技能的人员来实施,同时不会有在现有技术的设备和方法中所发现的那些缺点。
本发明的其它目的和优点可以在说明书、权利要求书中找到,并且在权利要求书中对本发明的范围作了规定。

附图示出了按照本发明的用于在一含有流体的物体如圆柱形管2中堵塞漏洞1的方法、工具和补钉。其形式为一敷贴器3的手工工具用于使堵漏补钉5在漏洞周围的区域内固定在管子2的外表面上。
敷贴器3包括一通常是圆形的、中空的、有弹性并能变形的、整体的构件6,它具有一杯形壁部7,该部分在其一个端部10限定了一圆形空腔8。周缘或法兰11朝敷贴器的中心向内延伸从而使其环绕并覆盖空腔8。法兰11限定了构件6的圆形外端面12。在空腔8内,壁7在其中心处有一圆形突起,该突起限定了一个朝外表面12延伸的空心的小凸台13。凸台13穿有一圆形的中心孔14。一通常是圆形的空心管状部分15沿与表面12相反的方向从壁7伸出并提供了一个能弹性变形的、具有通过其中心的孔16的构件6。管状部分15可以用一对整体的周向稳定肋17包围。杯形壁7的端部10的直径D可以在一至六英寸左右的范围内,其高度H与直径D的比可以在1∶1至1∶5左右的范围内。
一圆形周缘18在构件6的相对端19处包围管状部分15并从该处向外伸出。一带螺纹的端盖20具有一圆形的周向法兰21,它叠置在缘18上并将其卡住,以便使端盖与构件6相连。敷贴器3包括一刚性的把手23,该把手有一拧入端盖20,以便使把手与构件6相连的螺纹端24。一整体的、直径变小的刚性圆柱形柱塞或杆部22从端部24伸入管状部分15。一插入端部19的套筒25支承并保护管状部分15而且协助将构件6和把手23固持在一起。
补钉5包括一块可渗透流体的柔性织物26。比较理想的是,织物块26的面积足以盖住漏洞1并在漏洞的各侧上都包围住物体2的表面。但是,当泄漏是由大的裂缝或其它断裂引起时,可以采用两块或更多的叠置的补钉5。织物块26的中央部分27应当予以增强,以使它是柔性的但是流体不能透过的,而且有足够的强度,以承受在密封固化时阻止压力流体从漏洞1流出所施加的相当大的力。中央部分27可以包括一增强的柔性片状构件28,它的一侧29用粘结剂或由热熔化固定在织物块26上。中央部分27也可以这样增强,即将块26浸渍以能硬化成结实的、流体不能透过的弹性块的橡胶或塑料。如图2和4所示,密封剂30基本上盖住块26和片状构件28的反面侧31,并附着在它们上面。
块26可以用任何的结实的柔性织物做成,该织物包括交连的绞合线,如编织的或非编织的布、带和网,并且块26也可以用天然的,合成的、金属的或陶瓷的纤维制造。块26最好用拉伸强度极高的凯夫拉尔(kerlar)或Aramid芳族聚酰胺纤维制造。片状构件28可以用容易粘结或熔化在块26的材料上的柔性的、流体不能透过的材料制造。硬的天然橡胶或合成橡胶,如苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯可以用于作片状构件28,但构件28最好应当用氯丁橡胶制造。密封剂30应当在温度约为5℃至25℃之间迅速固化,并无需另外从外面加热,而且要牢固地结合在块26和片状构件28上。最好,密封剂30是一种不用从外部加热、大约一分钟就能固化的环氧树脂。合适的密封剂的例子在美国专利4569956、4565837和4396754中已经公开。还可以使用在美国专利3976613,3922358和3556831中公开的固化得较慢的材料。可弹性变形的构件6应当用密封剂30不会粘在它上面的材料做成,最好用硅酮橡胶制造。
图7示出了与图1~6相同的另一个实施例,只是杯形壁7的里面放置了压力释放装置36。一个穿过壁7的小孔36被一弹性的、能盖住这个孔的舌形阀37盖住。当需要释放敷贴器3中的压力时,可把一小棒或金属丝通过孔36插入,舌形阀37就可被从孔上推开,以释放压力。
本发明还包括密封漏洞的方法,该方法可以从敷贴器3的操作中很明显地看出。将块26切成使整个补钉5能配合在杯形构件7之内的大小,并且使片状构件28熔化或粘结在块26的中央区域。将补钉放在杯形构件7的里面,并将大量的密封剂30铺在构件28的整个区域上,使之基本上遍布块26的整个区域。密封剂30应当渗过纤维和/或块26的纤维或绞合线之间的空间。使补钉5由能弹性变形的构件7包围,关使补钉的一侧32被支承在敷贴器内,它的反面侧33则通过敷贴器开口端10的外表面12曝露在外。通过将补钉5与法兰11叠置,就可防止补钉5在开口端10必须向侧面或向下倾斜时离开敷贴器。外表面12靠在物体2的表面上,包围并靠近漏洞1。通过把手23在构件6的相对端加力,从而使法兰11变形,并基本上使整个外表面12与物体2的表面接触。用把手23施加足够的附加力,使壁7和凸台13变形,靠在补钉的侧面32上,并迫使补钉的侧面33与物体2的包围漏洞的区域接触。凸台13和壁7压在块26上并变形的作用通常是将块26和片状构件28模压或使之形成适合物体2的表面的轮廓。在把手23上施加附加力,压缩管状部分15,并使棒状部分22穿过孔14和16,与片状构件28的中央部分的相对侧32接触。现在应当通过压迫棒状部分22,向片状构件28和块26施加足够的压力,以阻止流体从漏洞1中流出。在片状构件28和物体2之间夹入一层较薄的密封剂30,并且块26将使更多的密封剂30与物体2的漏洞四周的表面接触。来自杯7和棒状部分22的压力应当保持作用在补钉5上,直至密封剂30已经固化,漏洞已被堵住。然后去掉敷贴器3的把手端的力,将敷贴器从物体2和补钉5上拉开。该敷贴器将恢复到它原来的形状,但补钉5将继续在漏洞1四周的区域内与物体2的形状相一致。用于制造块26的织物的作用有如在固化过程中保持密封剂层30并使之成形的介质,和在密封剂层已经固化后使之强度增强的增强物。现在可以在补钉5的上面和四周涂敷另外的密封剂30,以增强密封作用。
这样就说明,根据本发明的实践,只需要用一个可弹性变形的敷贴器3,就可以堵住很多不同尺寸和形状的各种类型的罐、槽、管子和容器上的漏洞。可以用敷贴器3将补钉5放在架空的表面上,以及水平和垂直的表面上,而不会使补钉跑开;法兰叠置在补钉5上并在把手23指向水平或垂直时将补钉固定在杯形壁7的内部。可以用柱塞22施加很大的力,以使片状构件28紧密地靠在被修理的物体的表面上,这样就不必使流体从物体中排出,并且也不必释放内部的流体压力。法兰11还在柱塞22向补钉作用大的力时防止补钉5从敷贴器上或漏洞周围的区域被推开或滑开。加强肋17防止了管状构件15在由柱塞施加力时横向折叠。漏洞四周的表面不一定必须十分干净,敷贴器3可以将补钉5贴在浸没在水中、烃或油中的物体上,例如在修理船身或变压器时。用本发明可以堵住90psi以下的有压力的泄漏。

Claims (10)

1.一种用于将堵漏补钉固定在一物体上的敷贴器,它包括;一具有一壁的可弹性变形的构件,该壁限定了一用于在上述构件变形之前将这种补钉完全容纳在其中的空腔,上述空腔位于上述可弹性变形的构件的一端,上述可弹性变形的构件具有一包围上述空腔的外表面,并且上述外表面包括一叠置于上述空腔上的周向法兰,上述补钉放置在上述空腔内,上述壁可在上述补钉的一侧上变形,以致在上述可弹性变形的构件的外表面被放在上述物体上,并对上述可弹性变形的构件的与上述一端部相对的一端施力时,使上述补钉的相对侧在上述物体的表面上变形,并将其保持在该表面上。
2.如权利要求1所述的敷贴器,其特征为,上述壁通常做成圆形和杯形。
3.如权利要求1所述的敷贴器,它进一步包括上述可弹性变形的构件的上述壁,该壁在上述空腔内限定了一凸台,该凸台朝上述外表面突出。
4.如权利要求1所述的敷贴器,其特征为,上述可弹性变形的构件有一穿过其中心的孔。
5.如权利要求4所述的敷贴器,它进一步包括具有一空心管状部分的上述可弹性变形的构件,该管状部分沿与上述外表面相反的方向从上述壁伸出。
6.如权利要求5所述的敷贴器,其特征为,上述管状部分被一周缘所包围。
7.如权利要求5所述的敷贴器,它还包括一具有一柱塞的把手,上述柱塞伸入上述管状部分,上述柱塞可移动经过上述管状部分,在上述壁变形时与上述补钉的上述一侧接触,从而迫使上述补钉的上述相对侧与上述物体接触。
8.如权利要求1所述的敷贴器,其特征为,它用于将堵漏补钉固定在一有液体泄漏的物体上,它包括是空心的并且是圆的上述可弹性变形的构件,该构件上有一穿过其中心的孔,上述壁是杯形的,上述可弹性变形的构件的外表面限定了一向内伸出并叠置在上述空腔上的周向法兰,上述杯形壁在上述空腔内部限定了一凸台,该凸台朝上述周向法兰延伸,上述可弹性变形的构件具有一空心的管状部分,它从上述壁向与上述一个端部相对的端部伸出,上述管状部分被多个周向肋所包围,并且上述杯状壁和上述凸台可在上述补钉的一侧上变形,从而在上述周向法兰靠在上述物体的上述表面上并从上述相对端向上述管状部分加力时,使上述补钉的相对侧靠在上述物体的这一漏洞四周的表面上。
9.如权利要求8所述的敷贴器,它还包括一具有一柱塞的把手,该柱塞伸入上述管状部分,上述柱塞可以在上述壁变形时移动,从而与上述补钉的上述一侧接触,以迫使上述补钉与上述物体在上述漏洞处形成堵住漏洞的接触。
