技术领域

背景技术
自从1887年酒店老板Charlie Glass发明了“投币机(Nickel in theSlot)”，从而产生了娱乐产业并刺激了唱片工业的发展以来，就出现了点唱机产业。这个事件也可以被看作和顾客交换特殊服务的“小额支付”商业模型的最初起始点。

同时，MMM 24将用户请求与播放标准，建议或优先请求发送到服务器10。服务器10则通过互联网12传输到选择的点唱机14，按照任何额外费用清单或标准清单执行数字媒体选择。
应该注意数字媒体选择信号从服务器10到选择的点唱机14的传输也可以包括全部选择的数字媒体，或者简单的到点唱机14的信号，以播放已经存储在选择场所的点唱机14的存储器内的特定的数字媒体。
MMM 24还能够通过SMSC向用户16发送消息，感谢用户进行了选择。这将确认已经执行了选择。同时，传输到用户16的消息可以包括其它消息，例如提供以特定的价格购买选择的歌曲或视频，或者购买表演选择的歌曲或在选择的视频中表演的表演者的图片或将所述图片作为壁纸下载到用户16的能力。
现在参照图2所示，描述了图1所示设备的另一种情况。在该情况中，远程用户内容选择处理器30能够通过全球通信网络，例如互联网12与移动媒体管理器24进行通信。为了位于特定的重放装置或点唱机14附近的其他用户的利益，这使得远程用户能够发送题词、数字媒体选择等。
如图3所示，还对远程用户内容选择器30进行修改，以通过互联网12提供到移动媒体管理器24和音乐服务器10中任何之一或两者的通信。无线通信设备16、18、20等也可以通过互联网12与移动媒体管理器24或音乐服务器10中任何之一或两者的进行通信，以为位于选择的点唱机14附近的其他用户提供数字媒体内容选择和重放。
在图4所示的情况中，远程用户接口设备16、18或20能够利用蓝牙、WiFi、红外、射频信号、光信号、激光等，在用户接口设备16、18、20的通信信号范围内，直接与点唱机14进行无线通信。用户接口设备16、18或20可以向点唱机14请求更新数字媒体内容目录。点唱机14从点唱机音乐网络服务器10请求目录，并将其发送到特定的用户接口设备16、18或20。如果由于任何原因与点唱机网络服务器10的通信发生故障，则点唱机14将其自己的数字媒体内容目录发送到用户接口设备16、18或20。
在使用中，用户选择具体的数字媒体进行重放。用户接口设备16、18或20将数字媒体内容请求发送到在其附近的点唱机14。如果在用户请求中不存在点唱机识别或“ID”，则假设用于进行重放的目标点唱机14是接收了用户请求的点唱机14。
为了对用户进行验证，点唱机14接着联系MMM 24。如果验证成功，则点唱机14尝试允许用户播放选择的内容的请求。如果重放成功，则点唱机14通过点唱机网络音乐服务器10与MMM 24进行通信，以指示需要向用户开出帐单并通知用户已完成选择。如果在该过程中存在任何错误，则点唱机14直接通知用户该项错误。
如果在请求中存在点唱机ID(不同于接收数字媒体内容请求的点唱机)，则将该请求发送到MMM 24，其中MMM 24对该请求的作用就如同是从任何其它的来源接收的请求一样。接着从点唱机14中，从点唱机14中的媒体存储器，或者通过来自互联网12和点唱机音乐服务器10的下载，输出选择的数字媒体。
在另一种情况中，在一个或多个位置提供无缝的数字音频-视频装置，或“无缝的”点唱机40。一些或全部无缝的点唱机40可以包括输入到视频显示装置，例如TV、显示器，或投影仪44的视频输出42。还可以从每个无缝的点唱机40向音频输出重放装置，例如一个或多个扩音器48，提供音频输出46。
音频-视频装置或无缝的点唱机40简单地分别包括连接到互联网12的音乐服务器和音频或视频输出装置48或46，音频或视频输出装置48或46能够产生如同互联网下载中的音频声音和/或视频图像。
在这一种情况中，在用户的通信范围内没有实际的点唱机14。
在这一种情况中，数字媒体内容存储在存储器存储装置或数据库50中，并被移动媒体管理器(MMM)24访问，以响应通过承载网络22传输到MMM 24的用户请求。MMM 24接着通过全球通信网络或互联网12将选择的数字媒体或内容传输到特定的点唱机40，以向用户输出。
用户仅能够通过MMM 24浏览数字媒体内容目录。这一种情况不需要在特定的位置的实际的点唱机具有相关的触摸屏、键盘、跟踪球、鼠标等。一旦从特定的位置移去该实际的点唱机14，也就不需要为每次选择管理货币或金钱，从而简化和自动化数字媒体内容选择过程。
图6和7描述了与图1-5所示的不同情况中任何一种共同使用的控制装置或移动媒体管理器24的主要部件的模块图。MMM 24包括与音乐服务器10进行通信的所谓的m-Venue服务器61，任何无缝点唱机40和其它的音频和视频重放装置60。
图7还描述了数字媒体选择信号从用户接口或设备16、18和20，通过上面结合图1所述的信号承载网络22，通过结合图3所示的互联网12传输或传送，或者如图4或5所示的直接传输或传送到数字点唱机14或40。如上所述MMM 24能够从任何来源接收远程内容或数字媒体选择信号。MMM 24接着检查选择的有效性、对其进行处理，将其存储在数据库中，并在图1所示的一种情况下将请求发送到网络服务器10中，或者在其它情况下将请求直接发送到点唱机14中。
服务器10或点唱机14、40从MMM 24接收信号，并试图将请求放入点唱机14、40等中。如果成功完成该过程，则服务器10以成功消息回应等待的MMM 24。如果由于任何原因在请求过程中出现故障，例如点唱机14不进行响应、传输网络出现故障等等，则服务器10以故障消息和发生故障的原因回应MMM 24。一旦MMM 24接收到对于远程内容选择信号的应答，则MMM 24在数据库中记录该应答并将请求结果通知给用户。
通过网络22将来自任何移动用户接口设备16、18和20的用户请求传输到移动请求控制装置62。接着将用户请求传输到m-Venue服务器61，以在特定的数字音频-视频重放装置或点唱机14、40等处，或者在将数字媒体选择传输到各个点唱机14、40等的点唱机音乐服务器10中，或者从被MMM 24直接传输到点唱机14、40等的内容数据库50中，进行数字内容选择。
同时还将每个用户请求发送到报告模块64，报告模块64与m-Venue服务器61进行通信以记录每个用户请求和成功的数字选择的确认。报告模块64与计费模块66进行通信，其中计费模块66建议每次用户请求费用。

Claims (16)

1.一种用于在数字音频-视频重放装置中进行内容选择的方法，所述方法包括以下步骤：
在存储器中存储数字媒体；
由远离数字音频-视频重放装置的用户接口生成数字媒体内容请求，以识别数字音频-视频重放装置和选择的由识别的数字音频-视频重放装置播放的已存储的数字媒体；
通过通信链路将所述数字媒体内容请求传输到控制装置；以及
所述控制装置将识别的数字媒体传输到所述数字音频-视频重放装置，以由所述数字音频-视频重放装置播放识别的数字媒体。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法，其中通过通信链路传输数字媒体内容请求的步骤进一步包括：
形成至少包括无线通信部分的通信链路。
3.如权利要求1所述的方法，其中通过通信链路传输数字媒体内容请求的步骤进一步包括：
形成包括互联网的至少一部分通信链路。
4.如权利要求1所述的方法，进一步包括步骤：
通过控制装置由数字媒体内容请求生成识别的数字媒体内容请求信号，以访问存储器中的识别的数字媒体内容。
5.如权利要求1所述的方法，其中传输识别的数字媒体内容请求的步骤包括步骤：
将数字媒体内容传输到数字音频-视频重放装置。
6.如权利要求5所述的方法，其中将识别的数字媒体传输到数字音频-视频重放装置的步骤进一步包括步骤：
通过互联网将识别的数字媒体传输到数字音频-视频重放装置。
7.一种用于在数字音频-视频重放装置中进行内容选择的设备，所述设备包括：
用于在存储器中存储数字媒体的器件；
用于由远离数字音频-视频重放装置的用户接口生成数字媒体内容请求，以识别数字音频-视频重放装置和选择的由识别的数字音频-视频重放装置播放的已存储的数字媒体的器件；
用于通过通信链路将所述数字媒体内容请求传输到控制装置的器件；以及
用于从所述控制装置将识别的数字媒体传输到所述数字音频-视频重放装置，以由所述数字音频-视频重放装置播放识别的数字媒体的器件。
8.一种用于进行数字媒体内容选择的设备，所述设备包括：
数字音频-视频重放装置，所述数字音频-视频重放装置能够播放数字音频-视频媒体；
用户接口，所述用户接口远离所述数字音频-视频重放装置，所述用户接口传输识别由所述数字音频-视频重放装置播放的数字音频-视频媒体内容的数字媒体请求；
存储在存储器中的离散的数字媒体；
通信接口，所述通信接口连接所述用户接口和控制装置；
所述控制装置在数据通信中与所述数字音频-视频重放装置连接，并从所述存储器中选择数字媒体内容；以及
传输链路，所述传输链路将所述控制装置与所述数字音频-视频重放装置连接，以将选择的数字音频-视频媒体内容传输到所述数字音频-视频重放装置。
9.如权利要求8所述的设备，其中：
所述控制装置被连接到所述通信链路和所述传输链路。
10.如权利要求9所述的设备，其中所述控制装置包括：
连接到所述传输链路的点唱机服务器。
11.如权利要求8所述的设备，其中：
至少一部分通信链路包括无线承载网络。
12.如权利要求8所述的设备，其中所述传输链路至少部分地包括：
互联网和无线通信协议中的至少一个。
13.如权利要求8所述的设备，进一步包括：
计费器件，所述计费器件可被所述控制装置操作，用于为数字媒体请求向用户计费。
14.如权利要求8所述的设备，进一步包括：
与所述用户接口装置进行通信的器件，用于向用户提供用于选择一个特定的数字音频-视频重放装置的位置的器件。
15.如权利要求8所述的设备，其中所述用户接口通信链路和所述控制装置适用于SMS通信。
16.一种数字音频-视频重放装置，包括能够由存储器存储的离散的数字媒体产生音频-视频媒体的数字音频-视频重放装置，其改进包括：
用户接口，所述用户接口远离所述数字音频-视频重放装置，所述用户接口传输识别由所述数字音频-视频重放装置播放的数字音频-视频媒体内容的数字媒体请求；
通信接口，所述通信接口连接所述用户接口和控制装置；
所述控制装置在数据通信中与所述数字音频-视频重放装置连接，并从所述存储器中选择数字媒体内容。
