Abstract
A surface acoustic wave (SAW) device (10) includes a SAW substrate having an exposed surface; and at least one SAW
transducer (14), disposed on said surface of said substrate; for converting between electrical energy and SAW energy that traverses said surface along at least one acoustic path. A conductive loop (22); disposed an said surface of the substrate; is electrically connected at its ends to the transducer. The conductive loop thus forms an inductive element for coupling energy into and out of said SAW device.
transducer (14), disposed on said surface of said substrate; for converting between electrical energy and SAW energy that traverses said surface along at least one acoustic path. A conductive loop (22); disposed an said surface of the substrate; is electrically connected at its ends to the transducer. The conductive loop thus forms an inductive element for coupling energy into and out of said SAW device.
