Chrome and Chrome OS development of next-generation browser and operating system environments
At Google we believe the browser is destined to be an even richer, simpler, and more powerful application delivery platform – and much of what we do and invent is based on creating this future. Our ongoing efforts with HTML5 applications that are browser-delivered work offline and online and deliver much of the capabilities of a native application while still retaining web-deployment and iteration abilities show this commitment. At Waterloo we are proud to be part of the Google commitment to delivering a superior browser to consumers, and in delivering an operating system environment optimized for the web experience. You can learn more about the work underway at Google in Chrome and Chrome OS at the Official Google Chrome Blog, Official Google Blog - Introducing the Chrome OS, Google Chrome OS FAQ, or Wikipedia - Google Chrome and Wikipedia - Google Chrome OS.
