When his exhibit was at our Phipps Conservatory, I went to see it several times, including at night to see it lit. I am so glad that many of his pieces we purchased for our permanent enjoyment. I also purchased a DVD of his works so I can enjoy them often. My son went to see his work in Seattle when he interned at Microsoft and I love the photos he took. I do enjoy seeing this beauty when I sit down to my computer, too. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. Why can't everyone let everyone enjoy what thy do without being the target of disrespectful negativism? There are many different drums to march to. Thank the Lord!

@GERRI ....... Quite a few people over 21 talk about wallpapers and screen savers. Many of the artists put their work on sites giving you a FREE sample of what they do. Don't you think themes are nicer than looking at a blank-drab background? This man is so talanted. He's creating an old tyme craft that many cannot compare to. Not too many people are as expierenced or even have the know how to work glass. I was told by a "glassblower" That working with glass is dying art, it's even rarer to find someone good at it. You should check out his website. You'd be surprisied! He is on google to get his work out in the public eye, one way of letting people know what he has for sale. Alot of people like decorating with this type of medium. Please check it out with an open mind. Be surprised, you might find something you like. ~*~*DALE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK~*~*

I fell in love with this art years ago - it just makes me feel so happy! If you are in the Dallas area, or will be, anytime from now until November, 2012, there is an amazing exhibit of 20+ pieces at the Dallas Arboretum. Set amidst the garden features, plants and flowers, they are just gorgeous!

Having been to an exhibit years ago in Seattle, I am now delighted to remember the magic of feeling I was at the bottom of the ocean and walking among irridescent organisms! I LOVE having this fabulous art for the theme today, and the variety of themes just enriches us all. Thank you!

Yeah sure, I'll change the world with my 14 year old wisdom...I've got big plans :) At least I'll be doing something better than commenting on COMPUTER THEME'S for enjoyment and you may say, WHY AM I? but I'm just replying to some fool who wants to try and argue with a 14 year old.

Fair enough if you have nothing else to do with your time and instead want to read other's opinion's on COMPUTER THEMES, but as I said I think its pointless to talk about an isse of computer themes when there is so much more to talk about in the world. If you have a conversation with your friend about computer theme's cause you want to show-off you won't have many friends - I hope this teaches you that the younger generation - me, 14 years old - have more to talk about than computer themes :)

If you are not interested in the comments then why are you even bothering to make a comment of your own or even read what is here? Personally I enjoy reading other opinions - sometimes I learn something or start to look at a theme in a different way. And I like to leave my own opinion because I like to socialize and show off!

Living here in the Pacific NW gives me an opportunity to visit Chihuly's works of art at any given moment. He is truly inspiring and has given so much to the art glass world in his teachings. My granddaughter and grandson have fallen in love with his glass works and they often ask if I have seen anymore or heard of any television specials with Dale Chihuly. We in Washington state are looking forward to his new museum and I look forward to taking the grandkids. Awesome!

I agree that the image is not wide enough nor big enough to do it justice. There is an installation of Chihuly glass all over the grounds at Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids,Michigan which is a must see!

I took my 4yr old granddaughter to Mr. Chihulys'exhibit in San Francisco. It was gorgeous. My granddaughter and I called it the Glass Garden. She is six now and still remembers it.

This new app you added {about this theme} etc. is great. It gives us all a chance to see whats behind theses creations. This igooogle website,gives you an oppurtunity to choose p an artistists theme to your own desktop.

The bridge of glass is a must see in Tacoma, theres nothing to compare it to!
