I do not like this gadget with change but I like the old one  Simon Wu - Aug 17, 2012 - Report this comment

Why google pushes people to accept its change. Very disappointed.

Try this Instead...  Michael Waters - Jul 15, 2012 - Report this comment

So like everyone else, "My Photos" is broken. Not sure if Google did this accidentally or intentionally in order to slowly move us off of iGoogle. I searched for other options and came across the Google "Image Slideshow" gadget. After messing around with it for a bit, I found a solution, which seems to work as follows: 1.) Add Image Slideshow by copying and pasting the link below or just search the gadget selection for "Image Slideshow". http://www.google.com/ig/directory?dpos=top&root=/ig&url=www.google.com/ig/modules/image_slideshow/image_slideshow.xml 2.) After adding the gadget, in the drop down preferences settings, choose "Edit Settings" 3.) For "Source", choose "Feed URL" 4.) For "User", enter your Picasa Web Albums user name. 5.) For "Feed URL" choose the album you want displayed from your Picasa Web Albums. By doing this: ~ Open an additional tab and browse to your Picasa Web Albums and choose an album. On the right hand side of the page, in the information box for the album, click on "RSS" link. This will open another page with the RSS link displayed in the URL box at top of the page. (Note: If you don't see the information box in your album page, just click on the "<<" symbol to display.) ~ Copy and paste from the URL box at the top of the page into the "Image Slideshow" gadget on your iGoogle page "Feed URL" box and save. This solution works for me and I actually like the display better than the "My Photos" gadget. So far I have not figured out how to display all of my albums but at least one is better than none. Hopefully you will find this solution works for you and if I come across any other way to get this to work properly, I will update.

Why??  Perry Pellechia - Jul 15, 2012 - Report this comment

Once again Google "fixes" something that everyone thinks is working just fine. I am getting tired of their arrogant actions. They continue to either screw up or take away their most useful products (i.e., igoogle) that people seem perfectly happy using the way they have work for a long time.

I really do not understand what is going on? Will be this gadget functional again? Its current state is more than disappointing....
