Can this be changed?   - Nicole W. - Aug 9, 2011 - Report this comment

I really like the concept. As mentioned by others, I wish that it didn't open full screen every time I want to check a word. Is there any way to keep the selection within the iGoogle page and provide a link to open full screen if needed? That's why I added the gadget, to stay within the iGoogle page. Thanks!

THANK YOU: I love TWD! It's an excellent resource! THANK YOU for making this valuable resource (TWD) more accessible to all iGoogle Users. :-) 1. My intent: The rating given here is not about TWD or your valiant efforts. :-) My rating is specific to my subjective experience of the widget's functionality in comparison to other iGoogle widgets. 2. The widget layout: using "look it up" for the button label takes up far more screen real-estate (space) than something like "go". The extra screen real-estate used causes the widget to take up two lines of space rather than one. Please see the wikipedia widget as a reference. When a line wrap is enforced by the iGoogle layout features more than half of the "look it up" button is obscured and only the top portion of the button is visible. So little of the button is visible that the words on the button can not be read. 3. Window management: opening the TWD page in a new tab within the browser is an absolute must in today's tab oriented browsing environments! Please address this needed feature as soon as possible. The is a critical user interface feature.

great resource to have on igoogle. would appreciate it if a new tab would be generated for each search. that way, i don't lose the info on my current page. thanks

i think this gadget is cool. What bothers me is that: 1. every time i refresh igoogle the idiom changes and this doesn't allow me to memorise the idiom correctly by reading it over and over again. Secondly there's no way i could go back to the previous idiom instantly. otherwise it's a great idea

I love this gadget; I use it all the time. A Request: is there a way to look up the word in a new tab, or just in the gadget frame, instead of taking me away from the google page?
