how do you edit the mini calendar on IGoogle......It is very difficult to use and needs easier applications, changes, deletions.

I was considering switching to Google Calendar from Outlook, but when I went to add an event I found it was totally dysfunctional. After clicking an event time, it interprets keystrokes as commands in Firefox. Thought it was a Firefox issue until I saw this page. Guess relying on Calendar isn't such a good idea.

I'm experiencing several of the same things listed below....the calendar entry does not add to the calendar, random 'empty' calendar, events won't 'delete', can't add a new category heading under the calendar tab. EXTREMELY frustrating to see the "google calendar is not working right now, please check back in a couple of minutes" and hours later, still not responding.

I am having exactly the same problems as Loren reported - I can no longer add an appointment from an email and have trouble adding appointments at all unless I swap to the month view. Tis a problem as I rely on this calendar for my work

Add me to the list of people reporting that Google Calendar is not working per usual. In my case, I can no longer switch between day/week/4 day views. Also, when adding a calendar entry, it no longer appears immediately on the calendar; sometimes it takes a minute before it shows up, sometimes it doesn't show up at all.

I depended on my calendar seriously so imagine me opening my calendar to find all my entries erased , whats weird is that it was random entries..I just hate google..I was sure that this was secure. Im selling this samsung tablet and anything else that is associates with google!

4/1/2013 Today, I was using my comouter and after logging off and back on a couple of times, my home page just disappeared. Yes, my calnder, task list, favorites quoted sites, etc. Has anyone else experienced this problem. I tried a system restore and had no luck! Must be because it's my birthday!!!!!!!!!!

Dust Demon...it was highlighted because March 25 was the current day given the day that you posted your comment. Google calendar always highlights the current date.

Spent 10-minutes trying to figure out why my March 25th is highlighted. Not a national holiday. Not a State holiday. Got a choice, either it is recognizing national Waffle and Pecan day, or it is Caesar Chavez Day. Amazingly, Google puts it into highlight, then doesn't put it into the events list to tell you WHY it is highlighted. That's responsible. NOT! (I guess if you are an illegal immigrant from Mexico, you'd know how Chavez helped unionize farm workers - but that doesn't mean anything to me).

It has been my experience that Google wants us to adopt their ways of doing things but are completely uninterested if you experience provblems. Google groups is a perfect example. If you should have issues, and you will, they are no where to be found. I have abandoned the Google groups I created because too many of my members had issues. I have similar issues with the calendar gadget.... but I don't expect anyone from Google to advise!

I have a Google chrome home page. My calendar disappeared, containing many entries that took time to install. When I load a new calendar there are no entries, so I have no idea when appointments will occur. Come on Google chrome, you have out done outlook for a while. If any one can help me recover these entries I would greatly appreciate your effort.

The calendar show up on one of my computers but show up blank on the other. States that the program I am running does not support the calendar. I am running the same browser on both comupters. Some one please help. It worked a couple months ago and not NOTHING!

I have looked on the instruction to see how to embed it to a website, and the instructions are outdated or something is wrong. It says there should be an embed link on the bottom right hand side of the page and nothing is there. What can I do?!
