While some of the facts are interesting and correct, many are about as factual as old wive's tales. I think some of them ARE old wive's tales, actually. One "fact" said that a cat will more likely survive a high fall than a low one, because the cat will reach terminally velocity and "slow down, due to friction." For one, it takes a really, really long fall to reach terminal velocity. And second, terminal velocity is the FASTEST an object can travel in air. It doesn't slow down, it reaches top sped >_<

A horse that has not broken its maiden is not a horse that is unraced. It is a horse that has not yet won a race. It may or may not have run a race yet. A horse may have run in a hundred races but if it has never won it is still a maiden. The term applies to male and female horses.

The latest one was something about the origin of the word golf being an acronym for "gentlemen only, ladies forbidden"? A simple search proves this isn't true whatsoever. whether it is a cat or anything else, Terminal Velocity is the max speed that a mass can fall through the air. It is the speed at which speed acceleration "terminates". The object can go no faster. It is NOT, as you portrayed it, a set of brakes which slow the object down from some higher speed. Or stated another way, until an object reaches Terminal Velocity it is travelling slower than said speed and hence the cat has a better chance the entire time BEFORE it reaches TV. TV does not bring it BACK form some higher speed. I love your gadget but now that I know you don't give a damn what you post there I doubt I will enjoy it as much.

You really should be more observant of what is posted; of course, it's obvious that the decimal point is not properly located. Eggs could not be incubated at over 800 degrees Fahrenheit, and the Celsius equivalent would be much higher than 350 (about 454 degrees C).
