Attractive weather gadget, but the settings will not save. Every time you refresh or return to the page with the weather gadget, the settings are lost. It's frustrating to the point of rendering the device useless.

I have had this gadget for a long time, but it seems to have a problem as of late. The info displayed in the lower half is being superimposed onto the radar map. Hope to see this fixed soon it is a really nice and useful gadget when it works. =)

As Brian M. mentioned in an earlier post, the weather channel gadget was added, and that's what it says, but nothing appears on my desktop. That means this gadget has been broken for at least 10 days. That's a pretty long time for something as simple as a weather gadget.

I have clicked it, does not appear. Button has changed to "Added" which should confirm that its been installed. Normally when I install a Google gadget, it appears right away.

All I get is the preferences box, I enter my zip code, it lists my town, and then just sits there doing nothing. Could not figure how to get it started and there are no instructions. So I dumped it, wasted a little piece of my morning

I hid map to regain some screen acreage but, while it did hide the map, that didn't mean that the widget size changed.

Weather Channel gadget not working properly either. I had a different gadget that went haywire and now this one is not any better. Say that you click on Today...and today is Monday, well it brings up Wednesdays weather and then you have to find Today in the column and click on that to find out what the weather is going to be lick throuout the day so that you can plan your picnic before the rain starts...Anyway..not sure what's up with the weather gadgets these days.. Maybe I should get a Farmer's Almanac and a Weather Barametor like my Grandma use to use...

The current temp fails to update frequently enough. For example, a few minutes ago it reported 83 degrees. Clicking through to weather.com the temp is really 67. BIG difference. This is not an unusual experience for me.

Agree with Ed & Ray below. Also feedback link doesn't work. The wx map should have option to be on side instead of below to save space. When you hide the map shouldn't the interface resize instead of leaving 2 inches of blank space below? When you came up with 14 skins couldn't you have made "white" an option? According to the "About" link this hasn't been updated since 2009. You have a chance here to be the premier weather source, the first thing people see when they start their computer. Get your $#!† together.

My only complaint is that the gadget box is too big. Half of the box is empty space, using up valuable real estate in my iGoogle. Any way to shrink down the box?

As of this writing, the issues raised by Brian Hall still exist. Especially annoying is that there are three forecast boxes, one each for today, tomorrow and the next day, yet clicking any of them invariably lands you on the "tomorrow" page at weather.com .

Sorry about your luck guys! As for me, it is working great. So far, it is VERY accurate in my local. What I don't understand is when people gripe and yet they state that they have never used it; don't even know what it is! Huh?! Anyway, I'm happy to have found it... CUL8R!

There are two main issues I have with this gadget: 1. It is very inaccurate, and is often completely contrary to the actual weather forecast. It is also misleading in the fact that it often shows a rain icon even if there is a very low chance for rain, causing you to think it will be wet when it likely won't. 2. Clicking on "today" for a more detailed look at today's weather always takes you to tomorrow's weather. Once there, you have to click again to go backwards to see today's weather. This used to work properly, but hasn't worked correctly for a couple of years now, and emails to weather.com about this issue have gone unanswered.

Mine stopped working about a week ago. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Oddly no other radar map gadgets are working for me either.

This gadget does not refresh frequently enough to be useful. Even when I refresh it on my iGoogle page, it does not match the WC's Web page. It is off by five degrees right now.
