Jaguar Mining Inc. (Jaguar) is a Canada-based gold mining company. The Company is engaged in gold production and in the acquisition, exploration, development and operation of gold mineral properties in Brazil. Jaguar’s three producing projects include Turmalina, Caete and Paciencia, which are located in the Iron Quadrangle region of Brazil, a greenstone belt located east of the city of Belo Horizonte in the state of Minas Gerais. The Turmalina mining complex consists of 4,908 hectares of mining and exploration concessions. The Paciencia mining property consists of 6,677 hectares of mining and exploration concessions. The Caete mining property consists of 9,190 hectares of mining and exploration concessions. Jaguar’s portfolio also includes the Gurupi Project in the state of Maranhao and the Pedra Branca Project in the state of Ceara.
