Fission Energy Corp. (Fission) is a junior resource company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and development of uranium resource properties in Canada and Peru. The Company's primary objective is to locate, evaluate and acquire uranium properties. Fission has approximately 686,419 hectares of exploration properties with uranium potential. In April 2013, Denison Mines Corp acquired a portfolio of uranium exploration projects held by the Company, including Fission's 60% interest in the Waterbury Lake uranium project, as well as Fission's exploration interests in all other properties in the eastern part of the Athabasca Basin, Quebec and Nunavut, plus its interest in two joint ventures in Namibia. In April 2013, Denison Mines Corp acquired the entire share capital of Fission Energy Corp.
