Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) offers degrees in acting and technical theater arts. The academy also provides workshops, short courses, and summer school. Subsidiary RADA Enterprises offers services of its staff to business, government, and education customers. Additionally, it offers the Shakespeare Certificate, which focuses on the development of Shakespeare's language. Actor-manager Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree, who had been a leading Shakespeare producer, founded the academy in 1904. RADA is an affiliate school of the Conservatoire for Dance and Drama (CDD), which was established in 2001. Warner Bros. Entertainment is a principal partner and major supporter of RADA.
