Description

MISUMI Group Inc. is a Japan-based manufacture company operating in four business segments. The Automation segment manufactures and sells shafts, bushes, linear guides, locating parts, pulleys, aluminum frames and stages. The Metal Molding Parts segment manufactures and sells punches, dies, spring guides, ejector pins, core pins, guides and retainers. The Electronics segment manufactures and sells connecting cables, harnesses, connectors, as well as measuring and control equipment and parts. The Diversification segment provides tools for machine processing, including end mills and cutters, as well as medical materials for hospitals and veterinary hospitals, including injection needles and syringes. On November 6, 2012, the Company completed the acquisition of Dayton Progress Corporation, a company engaged in the manufacturing and sale of metal pattern in the United States, and Anchor Lamina America Inc, a subsidiary engaged in components business of The Anchor Danly Company.
