Don Quijote Co., Ltd. is a company mainly engaged in the operation of discount stores. The Company has three business segments. The Retail segment operates large-sized convenience stores and discount stores that sell electric home appliances, daily miscellaneous goods, clothing, food products, household products, watches and fashion items, sports and leisure products, as well as do-it-yourself (DIY) products. The Tenant Leasing segment partially leases its stores for the Discount Store segment, and its commercial complexes. The Others segment is involved in the provision of agency services for the new subscription and change of cellular phones, the sale of cellular phone terminals, the development of stores, the real estate related businesses, the provision of sales promotion systems, as well as financial and outsourcing services.
