ADVAN CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the import and sale of building materials and gardening goods. The Company operates in four business segments. The Construction Materials segment is involved in the import and sale of construction materials for stores, commercial facilities, houses and condominium buildings and wash-basin related goods, as well as the related construction works. The Homecenter and Retail Business (HRB) segment is involved in the wholesale of gardening related goods, such as pots and bricks. The Real Estate segment is involved in the management of head-office buildings, logistics centers and other Company housings. The Others segment is engaged in the warehousing business. As of March 31, 2012, the Company had three consolidated subsidiaries.
