Obara Group Incorporated is a company engaged in the manufacture and sale of welding equipment and flat surface polishing equipment. The Company operates in two business segments. The Welding Equipment segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of resistance welding equipment for welding automobile bodies and others, as well as the contract processing business. The Flat Surface Polishing Equipment segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of flat surface polishing equipment and consumable materials for silicon wafers, crystals and glass disks. As of September 30, 2012, the Company had 22 subsidiaries and one associated company.
