Description
TOHO TITANIUM COMPANY, LIMITED is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the metallic titanium business. The Company operates through two business segments. The Metallic Titanium segment has main products, such as titanium sponges, titanium ingots, high-purity titanium and processed titanium products. The Functional Chemicals segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of catalyst products, including propylene polymerization catalysts, as well as electronic component materials, including high-purity titanium oxide and ultra-fine powder nickel, among others. As of March 31, 2012, the Company had five subsidiaries and one associated company. On May 1, 2012, it issued 7.76% of its shares to JX Holdings Inc.
