Sears Canada Inc. (Sears) is a multi-channel retailer. As of March 15, 2012, it had a network that included 196 corporate stores, 285 Hometown Dealer stores, 30 home improvement showrooms, over 1,700 catalogue merchandise pick-up locations, 108 Sears Travel offices and a nationwide home maintenance, repair, and installation network. The Company also publishes Canada�s general merchandise catalogue and offers shopping online at Sears.ca. As at January 28, 2012, Sears had joint venture interests in 12 shopping centers across Canada. In fiscal 2011, it opened 20 Hometown Dealer stores and three Catalogue merchandise pick-up locations. The Company also closed three Hometown Dealer stores, three Floor Covering centers and 91 Catalogue merchandise pick-up locations. In April 2012, it returned its stores at Vancouver Pacific Centre, Calgary Chinook Centre and Ottawa Rideau Centre to The Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited.
